Normal users watch 720p-1080p.
4K is a luxury for normal users.

Might be, but I am still not satisfied with the pricing.

Other Southeast Asian countries has cheaper broadband compared to Malaysia if we exclude singapore. sad.gif

Unifi ‘turbo’ plans offering more than double the current broadband speed. TM will gradually upgrade the speed for all its existing unifi customers at more than double the speed at no extra cost starting 15 August 2018, while new customers subscribing to existing unifi plans before 31 December 2018 will also be upgraded accordingly in 2019.
*
How about existing RM179 ThankYouSurprise 30Mbps---> 50Mbps subscribers? sad.gif

How about the 25% discount?
Will RM179 50Mbps subscribers get the 25% discount?
Will they get double speed to 100Mbps?

EDIT: Can lowyat representative ask these question if they are invited to the TM event?

Interesting graphic.

I wonder if the chart takes into account TelBru's 300Mbps package offering...
*
I really hate price per MB crap.

What is the point having lowest price per MB if the cheapest package starts with RM200? doh.gif

I think it will but on the other hand maybe not.
It's still there but hidden away in the rewards section.

Hmm?

But both of my unifi account don't have that quota listed at TMRewards

I think it’s just left over from the VIP5 days. 60GB was the quota for that and 90GB for VIP10.

Are your accounts relatively new? Mine are from right when they launched Unifi. What year I also forget already.
*
Yeah, both accounts are relatively new.

Check this out. Hopefully some good news

If TM pulls the quota crap on fiber connection, time to rally the netizen (hopefully goldfries or lucifier organize the campaign) and bring it to Minister Gobind for action. laugh.gif

Does my place got FTTH ?  Thanks
*
Congratulation, it is GPON terminal. (Yes, it is FTTH....)

Edit: on the other hand, you are screwed. That Huawei HG850a only has 10/100Mbps LAN port. Same with your DLINK DIR-615.....Don't get me started with your Wifi 802.11N 300Mbps......

Edit2: If you ever get 100Mbps unifi, you will not be getting 100Mbps, probably around 92-94Mbps (protocol overhead stuff).

Yea my router is ancient hehe. Maybe going change soon.

Read my edited post above.

Anyway, if you plan to get 100Mbps or above, both BTU and Router must be replaced by TM.

Yup, indeed it is gigabit LAN.

-.-? Isn't that i240g? It has gigabit ethernet ports.

Edit: Your router on the other hand.....is that Asus RT-N12HP with 9dbi antenna? If it is....why would one wanna use that router with Unifi 30Mbps and above? blink.gif Unless if it is Unifi 10Mbps......

rtn12hp can do up to 50mbps.

i used one for 4 years, good.

Of course it can handle up to 50Mbps.
The problem is interference from neighbouring 2.4ghz....especially at densely packed high rise building.

I didnt know you can choose a router from tm,which one should i choose?. Buying a new router probably not happening cause my father still use a old cheap TP Link 150Mbps modem router that cost about RM100. I heard the TP link C1200 so bad,and d850L is slow
*
C1200 = Random reboot, 4 minutes starting up, stronger signal than 850L.
850L = weak signal, fast bootup, stable

Pick your poison.

K....first step = know your unifi login and password

Second step mandatory = which C1200 firmware you plan to install? MY or EU? Look at the other thread.

Congratulation on getting unifi. What is your package?

alot ppl had mentioned C1200 is a bad router.. other than what you mentioned could you explain more? i'm using it with 100Mbps since day 1 unifi gave it to me.. random reboot so far no encounter ( mayb it happen during midnight while im asleep).. starting is freak slow.. but we usually leave it on for 24/7 right?

Im staying in single storey house and i could get 100mbps/50mbps download and upload speed pair with tplink t6e card.. my phone aso could get to such speed..

my colleague been poisoning me to change to asus ac68u.. but i couldnt convince myself.. afterall i felt C1200 not that bad...
*
Seem like you are not the type who use a lot of connections with your unifi.......

QUOTE(Doraku @ Jul 9 2018, 03:01 PM)
its a 30Mbps package, where can i Find Unifi PPPOE Password and username?,

It is on the paper which given to you by TM contractor. The 13 random alphanumerical is the password. Do know your login and password before you attempt firmware upgrade.

Didn't Stylish got pull off by Chrome and Mozilla for stealing user browsing data? Are you sure you wanna continue using it?
