Guys sorry for off topic but I wanna ask if anyone has any recommendations of Dual Band wifi adapter which is good and affordable ? My laptop supports only 2.4GHz wifi so basically I can only get 50Mbps wifi connection on my Unifi Pro 100Mbps, thanks !

That's the thing, from my perspective, Unifi is near perfect, practically no problems. For the things I do. I don't game much and the only time latency affects me is when I ssh into a server and the keystrokes are echoed back at me from the moon.

also, i am not using wifi but connected to the router via ethernet cable... why still have still slow AF? my pc must be secretly connected to "wifi" without me knowing

Exactly. These people who are not having any issue are probably working for TM and are protecting their favorite company or have "special account" that is impervious to any network issue us plebs get on a regular basis or probably not even using their unifi at the affected time.

Honestly TM is such a shit isp but in Malaysia its the lease smelliest one so not like I got much choice. But you want the "best internet" then you just gotta suck it up and endure the bullcrap that TM flings at you. Can't believe anyone is defending TM, a company monopolizing this countries broadband and crippling it in both speed and price. These idiots need to go outside this country and experience real broadband then only would they change their tune.

but i see other isp like japan's NURO 光, for 2G and 10G package they only guarantee u can achieved that speed with a wired connection, wifi only up to 1300mbps.

and the cpe they provide is call onu which is an all in one device that combine ont + router + ap.
