well i got this. looked good.

one thing i hated though is the lights at the bottom center. if you turn off google assistant, the light there stays on UNTIL you opt to turn back on google assistant. so what is the solution? apparently you got to use a black tape. that's the only thing so far i don't like about it. Though i can live with it, but some might not (not even using blacktape to cover it).

anyway it's a 2023 google tv. the eco system is MUCH MUCH nicer than the likes of tizen and those non androids.

then again, for those non googleplay, you can argue you just slap on a google chrome cast and get back google playstore that way.

anyway i liked it. didn't have it for very long so can't say how long this will last or it will break down.

My last smart hdtv was a samsung. It couldn't turn on. After googling, apparently this is a widely known issue.... so doh.gif

oo right. I blue tooth paired a samsung sound bar to it. BUT, whenever i turn off tv then later turn back tv, the sound bar goes offline. So each time that happens (only when you turn tv off), you have to go to blue tooth accessories and connect back the device. This works reliably. It's only it disconnecting when you turn off tv is annoying.

yeah this tv also supports local dimming. I set this to low.
