I beg to differ.. Some WD have very bad reputation like say the WD RED series...
Been using a WD 3TB My Book drive for about 4 years now.. Zero issues. Not daily usage, more of a backup drive and as a NAS-ish kinda drive.

i try not to go back to hdd, slow, bulky, and short warranty.

if u go for ssd, samsung offer 5 years warranty or their read/write cycle use up.

if ssd nvme 2.0, some even is 10 years warranty.

only downside, very expensive. actually i start notice stutter on the hdd because i put a lot of movies, spotify songs in there and when i play back, sometimes it will stutter.

this has been going of 6 months and today my motherboard just dont let me load window since detected a faulty hdd.

have to remove my hdd and boot up..

Just want to share my refund experience with lasapda to you guys.

-Status shows refund completed on 6 Mar.
-Call 1 week after to ask again, they said need 15 days to process.
-Call on 21 Mar, they emphasise 15 BUSINESS DAYS, have to exclude weekend.
-fine, so I wait till 27 Mar, and guess what? they said system migrate error, didnt process your refund. 
-So i give them my saving account for online banking which is only take 3 days, compare to the previous cc reverse charge which take 15 days.
-Today is 2 Apr, still haven't received my refund.
-Way to go lapsapda, this is how you xxxx your customer.

To be perfectly honest, the redmi 5A phone is unbelievable, I mean its fast, never lags, smooth transitions..
Battery life, can't expect much..
And camera quality can't compete with Iphone X.
