Hi guys, I added my local bank debit card (not credit card). You can top up and withdraw no problem. Quick pay is available. But question is which merchant/shops accept Wechat pay, time to scout around . . .
But if I go to China, can I use it there..? Can't find the option to change region yet. I do have a China mobile phone no. if it helps but no bank/credit cards from there

QUOTE(emch3w @ Jul 16 2018, 04:55 PM) if you activate the China Wallet for your Malaysia mobile prior the Malaysia Wallet then you will have the option to choose. If not you will only see Malaysia wallet. So far I manage to add BigPay credit card to the China Wallet but not sure can use to top up or not. Malaysia wallet cannot use for China. Do I have to be in China to activate China wallet, can use China mobile no problem. Can I link it with my OCBC credit card (usable overseas), will try next time, if doesn't work then never mind. What is BigPay credit card

QUOTE(kclamtarc @ Jul 19 2018, 09:55 PM) yeah. even registering a China handphone number can be full of obstacles [off topic again] You can buy them in airport. I bought my Chinese prepaid SIM card in airport with passport, ask for the counter. There's no expiry date, just top up when needed. Can be used in China except HK/Macao. Once you exit the airport only locals can buy with their Chinese IC, and limited to 5 numbers per IC. This post has been edited by twwong: Jul 20 2018, 05:16 PM
