Really hate WeChat UI. For the second time, it took me so long to figure out how to send red packet.
Honestly our local e-wallet transfer makes more sense, where you select transfer first before choosing the contacts.

True, because I don't really use WeChat

Problem is too few users in Malaysia, maybe just my circle of friends la.
It's only like 5% of my friends having a WeChat account/being active in WeChat

How do we switch region to use China Wallet? I only have MY wallet, thinking to try to get some friends to transfer RMB to me.

I know lots of discussion about this previously, tried to search but still couldn't find out much how to do it

What if I register another WeChat account while in China, I guess this will work?

Seriously what's wrong with them, being so strict to foreigners while the whole nation 99% already using e-wallet.
Not sure if I able to try to register a hong kong WeChat using HK number, then after that see if can activate China WeChat wallet

Oh ok thanks. Just tumpang to share here, so damn pissed today, enter the promo code before payment, got the notification "promo code successfully added" but didn't get the cash back. Their customer service damn bad, they refused to entertain and even deleted all my chat history with them. I open a case they even closed it without any reply.

Not sure I'm unlucky or what. Once in Sunway, Llao Llao claimed that WeChat system down cannot use. Then for few consecutive days in Pavilion, Llao Llao also say WeChat down. How to use like that

Oh please do so, sometimes I really wonder is it the problem with the outlet or really system problem.

So far my record:-
1) Sunway Pyramid - failed both times (once under Grab another time under WeChat). Both times also said system down
2) Times Square - used WeChat once, no problem
3) Pavilion - tried 4 times under WeChat, only once can use, 3 more times they said system down (recently only)

Sometimes I also wonder, if really system down, if they even bother to report it so that it can be fixed. I asked Pavilion, they said already report but no action, don't know how true is it

Yesterday, today didn't go already after tried so many times and disappointed miss the 22% yesterday.

Today "system down" again at Sunway, this is the 3rd time at Sunway and it's a 100% failure rate for me. My sis said during weekdays always fine, it really left us wondering if Llao Llao intentionally refuse to allow WeChat during weekends. I think they should just stop the promotion altogether.

Oh just realised same company with Llao Llao also, they really need to buck up.
Today my colleague just told me, Llao Llao Pavilion straight told her "WeChat promo habis" last week. They said cannot use anymore.

Sorry typo, I can't recall the exact phrase my friend told me, but she was told like they don't accept WeChat pay anymore.
My few cases they told me system down, which I was told it was the truth but really not sure why they told my friend they stop accepting WeChat.

Stupid Llao Llao Pavilion, again, for the 4th time, cannot use. Today different story from them.
This is what they said "sini memang tak boleh guna WeChat". Then I said I tried once before can. Then he replied oh tak tau la.

I'll write in a complaint too, really on my nerves already, really 90% failure rate for me might as well they cancel the promotion.
Same thing happened to Sunway think 2-3 weeks ago, big WeChat display but then cannot use, then I questioned the staff why not remove the display if "system down", then they cannot answer

Actually I already gave up after Pavilion and Sunway failure but today so happened passed by Mid Valley one, so I just asked them, wow so happy they said can use. So I never have any 2nd thoughts, straight ordered and guess what, system error. After they scanned, got some error message. Tried 2 WeChat account, both cannot.

You're very kind to still use cash, I straight reject the item, because we need to get them feedback to their management how bad it is. I told them, might as well you all stop partnership with WeChat since you all just can't get it right.

The staffs told me they super headache and hate WeChat, because just too many problems they encouter with WeChat. No issues at all with others like Fave.

What a shame, such dominant player in China but here like shit

As consumers we always have right to reject, moreover they proudly display the WeChat Pay signage at the counter, and also confirmed that it can be used. If can't use, they should just remove the display. Many buy because of this promo, it's unfair that they lure customers into believing they will get discount but eventually we're forced to buy at full price.

Also, I think Llao Llao is risking their reputation with this partnership disaster. Without WeChat promo, I still spend every Wednesday. Because of these issues, I've somehow reduced my visits to Llao Llao.

WeChat promo ended, guess can put to cold storage for some time, really nothing to shout about for WeChat, one of the most useless wallet in MY. Do promo also so screw up
