not to forget. Location must be set to Malaysia too.

I have both RMB and RM wallet now and managed to top up successfully.

Only debit cards are accepted. Credit cards are not accepted for RM wallet.

not really sure but mine is set to Malaysia, Petaling Jaya

Took me a while to make the "Switch wallet" option to appear. I had to change my language from Auto to English and the RM wallet was activated.

Yes only debit cards are allowed. Because you will need to transfer money back to your debit card in future.

Tried linking credit cards but rejected.

You verified your RMB wallet in China with your passport and linked to bank account?

Mine is unverified RMB wallet.
