Yes, you are absolutely right Bro. They definitely need to create more awareness and also introduce some kind of rewards system for the early adopters or else, stand to loose out big time.
The China Wallet is already matured and widely used in China, so no issues with that. It's just that people who are going over or visiting there are keen to be able to use Wechat china wallet but without understanding how the concept actually works.
Since they changed their regulations and if you're thinking of using it now, don't even think of using China Wallet, unless you're working there or you know someone from China. The China Wallet is already matured and widely used in China, so no issues with that. No matter how you try, you would still need to get through that identification and bank account (both from China) verification process. Correct me if I'm wrong.

i wouldnt expect them to make an announcement at this stage, theres still alot to fix and by your own experience its slow. if they announce it it just gonna be a big pr disaster.
I wonder why they didn't fix it earlier, the beta test lasted for years before it's made available to public. When it's available to the public for like half a year now, no merchants accepted it. And then only recently, first merchant that accepted it is KK mart, and the payment process is slow. Like I mean, with such a long time, what were they even doing?QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Aug 18 2018, 06:40 PM)
If you're talking about Razerpay rushed for the launch, I don't think it's true. Razerpay is actually just a redesigned and rebranded One2Pay, when One2Pay was still around for so long, it had many issues that they didn't even bother to fix. I believe it's not that they rushed for it, it's because they don't know how e wallet works.Razerpay failed because of their flawed "free RM 10 credit" promotion, most people couldn't do top up with it, not even buying stuffs from 7e which is what they kept promoting about, the cashiers kept giving excuses like "system down" or "manager said can't use" etc., which is kinda similar to when they were One2Pay. And when the promotion ended, they didn't make the announcement immediately.
