there are many reasons an account can be locked.
either been hacked, key in multiple wrong password, etc. your case the reason of being locked is a bit special.
to unlock is the same way.

Oops. I think you misunderstood, it was my mistake too for not stating it earlier as this has been discussed for months since early of the year, I assumed everyone got it by now.

This is for WeChat Pay CN wallet verification, not WeChat account. WeChat has cleaned up a lot of non-Chinese citizens' accounts from using their wallet. I was lucky to be able to hold for another half a year while others were already not able to use CN wallet since long time ago. The reason why I could hold until today is probably because my WeChat is tied to my CN no., and not MY no.

fruitie, how did you find out your wallet got stuck? is it when you wanted to use it then something popped up telling you needed to get it verified, then you got help from your China friend?

I asked my China friend to send me an angpau (I do that from time to time just to ensure my account is still OK) and it popped up the notification asking me to verify with a Chinese ID.

Anyone know why all card number that I entered are invalid? I have tried public bank visa, maybank visa, bigpay debit card, all cannot.

BP sure cannot use.
No problem with MBB Visa debit.
Last time got use PBB Visa debit before; also no problem.

I am using both Maybank Visa Debit and Public Visa Debit, successfully added.
Maybank 4283-32**-****-****
Public 4848-10**-****-****

Otherwise you have to go to branch to change your old cards to the new upgraded cards (with MyDebit logo).

Bigpay is a Prepaid Mastercard, not a bank debit card.

Just to confirm, you're using the debit & not credit card number right?

I have tried 3 cards so far, all cannot
Public bank Visa - 4386 xxxx xxxx xxxx
Maybank Visa - 4460 xxxx xxxx xxxx
Bigpay card

You used the wrong cards, 4386-68** and 4460-**** are CREDIT cards, not Debit cards.

WeChat Pay MY doesn't support credit card as source fund since Day 1.
