Do u play football with mentality thinking that u resemble a pro footballer?
i do have friend that thinks he's KEANO! they way he runs, they way he tackles, shouts, etc. and another friend of mine is contrary to cannavaro, he missed all the tackles, missed all the headers, avoid shots to goal.. we called him CANNIVIRI..

Do ppl call u footballers' name? or any experience with fellow friends?

my futsal friends call me eto'o.... coz i'm dark-skin color and tall but a little skinny but dun have any skill

they called me steven "garage"..... ouch..... I ain't that bad!

most of my tall n skinny friends..ppl call them peter crouch! and i can say most of them , their shooting sux..

ppl call me Roy Keane/M. Carrick when i play during schools sport lessons. duh i like to slide in to one-man show strikers and lob/long shoot

In my area the nicknames are usually given based on the name on the jersey you wear, usually only those who wear other footballers name on their jerseys get called after the player. But almost the all the time the nickname only continues being used if the player plays in the same position as the real life footballer he's named after.

When i played the U-18 MSSD against a Kota Damansara school, they were district champions, they had nicknames like 'Ah Long', 'Ular' and a few more I can't recall, lol.

Anyone here knows well about Indian culture? Cause I notice the nick 'Ular' is always given by Indians to their pacey Indian friends.

Ular/Snake is also a name given to hardcore gangsters

i think refer to fast player with instinct to score goals.
