Time to buy i guess xD

Need help with choosing a 1060 3gb card. There's 3 900+ I'm looking at, zotac amp core edition(1797 mhz),galax oc(1733MHz) & palit dual fan(1708mhz).all are dual fan.
Which are better for temp and can last(any rma data?)
Thank you smile.gif

iinm zotac got the longest warranty (5 years). but i do suggest getting the 6gb variant if the price different not a lot.

What do you think is the most sensible thing right now?

Get a used GTX1080, or get the Inno3D GTX1080Ti? Or just wait, and wait, and wait...
*
if you get a gtx1080ti you can probably skip the next gen of nvidia, but also depending on your preference la (like high fps / 4k / vr those...)

read a recent news that there's surplus amount of gpu returned back to nvidia in asia region, hopefully we get price cut for stock clearance soon. rclxms.gif

hello guys, is GTX 1060 worth for 240hz gaming? I dont want to spend 3k++ (1080ti)  for a 2 years old card. Just wondering if anyone use 1060 with 240hz monitor. Thanks

My specs are 8700k, 16gb ram.

zotac is selling their 1080ti amp! edition for rm2999 with 2+3 years warranty, currently cheapest 1080ti.

its not factory overclocked though, stock gtx1080ti speed, unlike real amp edition
*
wait, so meaning it has the exact same cooler with amp! edition but with stock speed? meaning lower power draw / temperature out of box?
meaning i can just OC to match the clock speed sweat.gif

the cooler design looks the same, but the clock speed is stock, so i dont know, its not guaranteed u can overclock it to match amp edition, this cooler is quite sucks btw

and they advertised it as zotac 1080 ti dual fan
*
dam that sucks, but i saw ur rig using zotac 1080 !amp edition so was ur gpu temperature while gaming / idle.

dam thats kinda hot, thanks for letting me know, almost fell for their marketing. didn't check the base clock speed, its the exact same as FE, maybe they just slap on amp edition cooler on it.

I'm not sure why everyone is so excited to buy founders edition cards?

The GTX1070 and GTX1080 were announced around May 2016, it took until around November 2016 before I bought my custom GTX1070 at "reasonable" prices. They were either priced too high or out of stock earlier. I'm guessing the new series will face the same timelines.

Anyway best of luck to all those buying, I'll sit this generation out for now.

people buying FE cards are probably going for water cooling route. or probably for bragging rights.

well rumors did mention it will have 35%+- more performance than 1080ti...

but, need to pay double the 1080ti price to get that 35%... is it worth?  hmm.gif
*
Is that the comparison between 1080ti to 2080ti or 1080ti to 2080? cause the prices of brand new 1080ti is close to 2080, about rm200 differences for some model. If 35% + performance for 2080 from 1080ti then i think its kinda worth it.
