So... in conclusion;

2060 Super is 2-3% slower than 2070
2070 Super is 6-9% slower than 2080
2080 Super should be 12-15% slower than 2080Ti (based on CUDA core incrase and clock boost)

Basically, RTX 2060 Super replaces RTX 2070 since their performance are in the margin of error. But for RTX 2070 Super still cannot match RTX 2080 since there is still some performance difference. I think now is the time to get RTX 2070 at the price of RTX 2060 Super. The Super series basically has less shader cores but at higher frequency compared to their direct predecessor.

While thinking of buying an RTX 2060 Super Mini/ITX, came across this listing in Garage Sale. Not thinking much, I just bought it. I think it is a good deal.

RTX 2060 is now priced at USD 299. Price drops!

to get some life in here again, let's share some 2070s TimeSpy run.
11253 - 2070s Gaming OC (Stock BIOS) - @2085,2000

Not really efficient maxing out the power target, however quite fast  nod.gif

Taking drivers into consideration I prefer this over my 5700XT.
Disregarding them would make this a tight choice.
Would probably tend towards the 2070s if the price difference is less than RM200.

Your infinity fabric can run at 1900 MHz? 🤔

ya with this 3600x it can do so in a stable manner
*
ic. mine 3800x is unstable at 1900 MHz as after stable for few hours, the audio will be lost while watching YouTube. 😭

Ya, I think maybe it's less than half doing it stable.
I assume you have messed around with soc and vddg voltages trying to get it stable?
*
set soc to 1.125 and the others to 1.1 already according to DramCalculator.

I think this Ampere generation won't last as long as Turing or Pascal as next year AMD will release Navi 3rd gen and Intel Xe HPG also coming next year. Exciting times ahead indeed in the GPU space.

For a 2070Super worth how much now.... 😢 with 2080ti going for 2k...

If only there is a dual fan version for 3080... guess 3070 is best for SFFPC.

what you talking, 3080 memang dual fan what
*
I mean the length of the card to be about 260 cm. The FE edition even with dual fan is closer to 290 cm which is what a normal triple fan card will be.

Wow... Nvidia  tongue.gif  3070 Ti spotted. I think this will be for next year.

3080 Ti very likely then (to bridge the gap between 3090 and 3080).

already listed by Lenovo. https://wccftech.com/nvidia-geforce-rtx-307...nfirmed-lenovo/

Leaks say that Nvidia will be bringing the full GA104 die as 3070 Ti/Super with 16 GB after AMD strikes. Also, possible is 3080 Ti/Super with more SM enabled but not the full GA102 die as in the 3090 and with 20 GB. For best efficiency, the 3070 Ti/Super looks appealing.

Wondering with more developers and hardwares supporting hardware accelerated GPU scheduling and the forthcoming DirectStorage API (ie RTX IO) will CPU still be a bottleneck? 🤔 We now see the dedicated ram on GPU is doubled (12, 16, 20, 24) that of what we get in previous gens with the GPU handling more IO directly.

According to Igor's lab, Big Navi at TDP of around 280 W will have performance between 3070 and 3080. But if AMD decides to clock it higher with TDP of more than 300 W, then the performance will be around 3080. All this with a smaller die area, power and number of transistor. Thanks to TSMC 7 nm which is better then Samsung 8 nm.

So RTX30 is good for those doing compute workload? 🤔 No wonder there is saying that the performance per cuda core is much lower compared to Turing.

Anyway, boomshell from AMD. AMD will not compete at 3090 level but will compete well with 3080. AMD is focusing on the mainstream highend instead of the ultrahighend of low volume product.
