QUOTE(yshiuan @ Feb 20 2025, 09:17 AM) Yeah, I'm waiting for 5070ti too. No eye see on the price, may be June will be better Ya, if you already have existing rig then it is fine. for my case, it is full build since I am not into PC gaming for 10 years+ Right now, planning for new rig with that in mind taking newest available tech if possible. since i don't foresee to keep on upgrade for next 2-3 years unless market subsided in term of prices. my last rig is only i7 920 and GTX 670. https://www.lowyat.net/2025/342980/msi-vent...nstream-gaming/hopefully that the pricing is closer to the Nvidia MSRP.

QUOTE(chocobo7779 @ Mar 2 2025, 08:54 AM) Assume you can even buy one at non-nonsensical prices in the first place Tried asked several retailers for a 5070 Ti, all of them want to sell me bundles or fully built machines I was quoted a 5070Ti for 4K sharp today after going for quotation on full build. I am still on the fence to proceed or not as they have graphic card in stock but case and motherboard need to wait for order

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Mar 24 2025, 06:17 PM) total include import fee deposit only 3.85k this 5070ti card but no warranty.. Dont know why is 729 but when check out is only 607 probably they remove uk vat That is a big risk for you for a small difference in pricing. For me warranty is a piece of mind considering that the 50 series have been rocky launch since. FYI I got mine 5070Ti at 3999 (with full pc build) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Mar 26 2025, 11:06 AM) I think can tumpang if they dunno but warranty claim will be under your fren. I think should be fine, the warranty claim will be under the name of pc. But PCImage have membership so it should be easier as they can pull the record out. this is what they told me. but they do requested to retain the original packaging though.

Not sure what model they take, my case only can take 5070ti sff version, hopefully got zotac solid core or gigabyte eagle. Not sure if they allowed that, maybe can ask them and see I got the MSI 5070Ti Ventus 3X, this is also sff version » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Mar 26 2025, 11:55 AM) Yeah gonna ask them, if not hopefully by then price down abit. How much is it? This ventus 3x version the temp macam not so good from techpowerup review. SFF no much choice i got the ventus at 3999. they have Asus available too but the price is RM4.7K Yes, the SFF option not much available.

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Mar 26 2025, 12:57 PM) wow that is cheap, how is the temp and the noise? cos ventus is okay but seems like review site show unpromising results on the fan and temp. another decent msrp is galax 1-click oc card but only see shopee seller 1 click oc ex gamer which is longer version. Currently the noise is bearable for me. the noise itself not that strong. Temp wise is still manageable around 70C on moderate game. i have yet to try AAA games on it yet. the next plan is to undervolt both CPU and GPU as I prefer it to run cooler despite some performance heat.

QUOTE(M4A1 @ Mar 26 2025, 03:08 PM) no idea on this , unless monitor kaput cause my mindset now is : if 5070ti or 5070 can fully optimize my monitor then why am i paying for 5080 when i cant fully utilize it Initially in the same dilemma if i should spend more for the 5080. 5070 is not an option i consider as the 12GB vram not enough for some games. I felt that 5070Ti is enough for 2K monitor.

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Apr 14 2025, 10:17 AM) Ventus is 2.5-2.7 slots. About borderline SFF ready for XL type cases I guess I am using the MSI 5070Ti ventus. Able to fit in ITX case (PCCOOLER K101) quite nice with some room to spare. Undervolt the GPU able to push the card higher score in 3DMark Time Spy and Steel Nomad. However i do notice the game crash multiple times which is un-related to the undervolt as the crash persist despite using stock setting. Maybe related to driver issue which just waiting for the Nvidia to release updated driver.

QUOTE(ben3003 @ May 28 2025, 12:16 PM) Found out is mobo need set to manual gen4 link speed. Now its working. Surprisingly tis msi inspire is quite small, just nice for my casing. I actually taught them wat to do, they tot my psu not enuf power lol. cos my cpu no integrated so cant set need use spare card to go into bios dulu. had the same issue with MSI ventus 5070ti too. Had to change bios PCIE gen4 speed manually for it to work. i did use riser cable too as it is ITX case. that might be the issue

QUOTE(ben3003 @ May 28 2025, 12:27 PM) Yeah lucky mine works i tot any bigger issue haha like the bending adapter cable cos the case too small. Shudnt be a prob kan.. btw, if my previous card 3070ti, need to do clean install for driver? Since it is still nvidia card, i don't see the point to clean install but update the driver version to support 50series should be must.

QUOTE(edmund_yung @ Jul 7 2025, 10:52 AM) How is your Ventus 3x? I'm planning to get it for my SFF, my current 3080 Ti Ventus 3X is just too hot for the case combo and the heatsink doesn't cut it for the 350W card, but might be passable for the 300W card. The Ventus 3X is great because it is easily de-shroud and used together with case fan. I'm also wonder if Zotac Core or Core SFF will have better heatsinks and how difficult to de-shroud them. Not sure it is worth the slight upgrade.. So far working fine, no issue with it at all. Updated to the latest Nvidia and no crash found at all. undervolting the card does help with the temp as it max out around 70C during gaming despite it is SFF case. The only gripe I see is that the ventus 3x is entry card which power limit only at 100%. it seem to be hard locked bios unable to push further.
