I had zero expectations the first time I saw its tech demo and then the subsequent trailers. I thought why not let's give it a chance, turns out I'd rather watch paint dry, really.

i liked to play rpgs that aren't annoying and makes me headache, and this game is kinda straightforward so i liked it lol. the only thing i don't like is the annoying mc's personality
the developer already had reputation on making a gameplay and story good when near the ending, so i know what to expect from them. Sometimes they do make awesome scenes like one of the FFXV's dlc, the ending of prompto one

i don understand what he mean, but windows 10 it say not support on my old pc even GT1030 also show support direct storage, but windows 10 not support
windows 10 should have support on 1909, but for me it's probably because of my SSD, iinm it needs 1TB SSD and PCIe type but it's not an issue for me, i'm not that picky on loading times
By the way, the game's texture settings is misleading because it includes texture streaming. You should only set it to max if you have at least 16GB VRAM. even if it isn't max, it'll still use high reso texture just that it'll stream and park the texture less in your VRAM. dudes which has 12GB and especially 8GB VRAM gpus can sometimes see some textures changing to lower reso and higher reso and inconsistent. Just don't set it to max and you'll be fine

TFX is the best paste for GPUs right now, aside from LQM that is. Fucking viscous, almost like clay. Difficult to spread so make sure you take your time to do it. You'll be rewarded with temps that rival Kryonaut but without the pump out issues. MX4, NTH1 are for silicons back when 70c was considered "hot".
Now a days when we have CPUs that reach 95c and 105c yet considered as "it's normal, you bising for what?", those kinda paste won't last more than a year.
wow i guess time for me to order new paste, using kryanaut atm on my CPU and due to my hot room and it's not delidded it's sitting around 80C if full load in games
You should check your paste then. Kryonaut is good up to 80c, after that it'll pump out pretty quickly.
My company deploys a lot of laptops for on-site work. Plenty of them I repasted with Thermalright TFX, all zero issues with thermal throttling under the hot sun. Used to use Kryonaut for them due to "best" temps, but that best temp only lasts like 3 or 4 months then it's a hassle to keep opening up laptops after that. With TFX, I haven't opened up a laptop for the past 12 months lol.
luckily my kryonaut is 1g tube, i'll repaste after getting new paste. so far my temps are ok atm

Best GPU TIM that is not LQM is tied between kingpin KPX, thermalright TFX, Cooler Master Mastergel Maker and Gelid GC-extreme.
All 4 has no pump out issues even at above 90c with constant thermal cycling. I personally use Gelid. Buy whichever you find the cheapest. MX4 has pump out issues.
What people don't understand about pump out however is that it only occurs if the component is constantly beyond 90c for prolong periods of time (i.e very common in gaming laptops). Your typical 2-3 hours gaming sessions where the GPU is only at ~70c isn't going to change your TIM whatsoever even after a year.

If you want to have an easier time spreading the paste, just warm up the tube in a plastic bag.
fuh, didn't know the previous paste became so dried until it won't stick lol, luckily it didn't pumped out because i underclocked my cpu last time and ran cool. Reapplied and my temp dropped over 5C heh
Yes I bought the thermal pads for VRAM. Damn expensive this Thermal Grizzly. Only to find out it was 3cm x3cm only and not enough for all the VRAMs. So I didn't use it.
Boy, I am so so sooooooooooo happy.
I solved my GPU overheating problem and it is because of the damn original thermal paste. When I detached the heatsink, I found the thermal paste hard and cracking. Like cheese cake put out in the open for 1 year.
Luckily the thermal pads was soft and easily put back into place.
I bought coolermaster mastergel pro v2, applied it, reassemble the whole thing, fired up my rig and wow! Gaming temps for "Control" game was 56'c instead of reaching thermal throttling of 83'c in less than a minute!!
At least now I have solved my GPU problem and tamed the 13700k. So happy.
now i worry my msi 3090, this thing is so big and heavy to open in the future

hopefully intel gpus gets better and better, i liked their good development support for pro apps outside of gaming, their Xess is way better than FSR and slowly catching up to dlss too

Finally got all the components I need to DIY GPU cooler.
[attachmentid=11416977] x3 Arctic F9 PWM PST fans. They actually come with additional headers to connect to other fans. Luckily the 1-to-3 splitters I bought is only RM3.

The magnets in the GPU stand near the mobo has been removed. Don't want to have risk of magnets affecting the mobo. Only the GPU stand away from the mobo still has magnets that can grip the base of the casing (PSU metal shroud).
You can select other colours too. Do remember to buy the correct height for your gpu.
This vendor is from China and they also carry many other GPU stands with varying heights.
what rpm do you set on the fans?
did you put your computer case on the table? Mine just put under the desk so the fan noise doesn't bother me much, though i did put it at reasonable noise levels

Like its possible for Hogwarts to be heavily coded for Intel GPU and run unoptimised on Radeons but typically the margins would not be so big as 3X.
I would take 3-4 reviews of the same game from other sites before making judgement.
the 7900xtx seems like have serious issue on hogwarts if all 3 raytracing turned on and set to ultra, really really low fps, but if raytracong set to low it gained alot of fps like over 5 times more for 7900xtx
meanwhile arc a770 didn't get as much fps hit on rt ultra
but in reality this game, there's stutter on 4070ti and on my own experience the 3090 too even when my fps is 50-80 with rtx on ultra. cyberpunk, dying light 2, control etc don't have this stutter.
Nvidia Video Super Resolution release. I'm so happy it works with twitch live streaming since it's currently stuck at 1080p from most of the streamers.

The downside is you shouldn't go lower than 480p, ultimately 720p or above, if the source video is too low resolution, it'll have weird artifacts like on FSR on performance.
yup, works well enough. Quality Level 4. Tried it on Prime (VoX Machina; animation) with good/really good improvement. HBO Go (LoU) - decent results Disney - good (Book of Bobba Fett) to decent (Wakanda)
Youtube somehow seems to draw a lot more power (>200w) though compared to the other streaming sites.
I'm happy that twitch and anime site works too, because most of these still stuck on 1080p atm
1080p on twitch uses 280watts on my 3090, though it's undervolted to 800mV, so it probably can use more than 350watts if stock.
Anybody tried UE5 City Sample (aka Matrix City) tech demo/game?
I find that its weird I'm having crashing issues when running it, even to the point where 'Niobe' just standing still after a while not moving it will crash. Later on after limiting FPS in settings to 60FPS I no longer have a single crash in fact had been flying around the city blocks like Neo or Spiderman for 1-2 hours.
Anybody else have this same issue and how to fix it?
Artificially limiting FPS cap meant my GPU could do even higher but for some reason stability is gone case. I wonder if this is the same as 3070 & above users too.

Personally I did rather use the 600w pcie 5 12vhpwr type 4 PSU power cable rather than the supplied power adapter cable that comes with the GPU. Cost ABT rm79 for Corsair. But I believe this cable can be used for all compatible OEM PSU.

They have sleeved ones too, cost rm120++ Once u have used it, u re never gonna go back using those supplied adapters. troublesome ugly looking connections Pretty sturdy cables for the non-sleeved ones It works beautifully on my 8 years old AX1200i so it shld be no problem for others that share the same OEM platform (meaning other brands) same rule still applies, leave an inch before bending the cable at the connector.
oh my case is black tinted from corsair so it's harder to notice the cable details.
now got 2000 series or 3060 that are very cheap, the DLSS is a game changer for anti aliasing, one of the best ever especially if the game supports DLAA.
nowadays i'm unhappy if have to play a single player game that doesn't support DLSS lol

just got myself 1440p 240hz monitor, can't wait to go back and try. the 3090 should have no issues on it's connector to support 1440p at 240hz via displayport right?
