Anyone who are looking for 850w SFX PSU can order from shopee. only 1 seller for now. Not too sure if it's imported or officially MY unit...

https://shopee.com.my/product/27709151/4564235799

Price wise I think it's reasonable...

Ah got it.guess i would have to wait for 3060 ti if it ever came out around rm2k msrp then.
Gotta sell my 1660 super asap with good price
*
Currently RTX2060S new is RM1400
And some leftover RTX2070S is at RM1800
The new RTX3070 cheapest is RM2400.
So likely the RTX3060ti should be around RM2k

Thank you for the price reference
Saw some leak that it should just be weaker than 3070 about 10%,so should i expect it to at least good for 1080p 144hz for most games?

Think of the bright side, 4.7k is cheaper than the 5.1k MSI suprim X lmao

For me paying a premium for a 3080 makes sense because the next GPU is already the 3090 at 7K+.

Doesn't make sense for 3070 though.Even the best OC'd Asus ROG 3070 stilll lose out to an entry level 3080.

That being said, still sold out. Economy bagus ya

if it’s me, i rather just get a entry 3080 to fill the gap untill a 20gb super/Ti variant appears. Hopefully by then the 3080 stock is still low and so dont depreciate much in value. While by the time TI comes out, the premium 3080 will depreciate like crap.. because a little topup can get a TI. It’s the same situation as 3070 strix.

more like it's a track car.... it will work best in scenarios or tracks that it was specifically tuned for.
1920MHz at 900mV is quite low... should be able to do more, try 1950 or 1965... else the silicon you got there is not very gooding.

My zotac trinity OC deshroud mod just went busted... there is not a single NF A9X14 chromax that I could find anywhere lol... contacted the distributer and probably stock will only come next year but no promises... And i need 3  ohmy.gif (If anyone knows where i can get 3X please pm)

at the moment for a last ditch effort.. I've ordered 3 ID cooling 92MM from taobao... Hope they're good enough to be use as proof of concept... till the noctua is available.

ID cooling fans good enough to cool GPU? Are they static pressure fans?
Planning to DIY my broken GPU fan also, would appreciate it if you keep us updated on the DIY cooling solution.

my last amd card was R9 290.. had bad experience as well when first got the card.. but after they have optimized it.. it was one of the best card.. had it for so long
*
Yeah, my R9 280x has been serving me for 6-7 years and still going strong. AMD FineWine technology is real wub.gif

in their spec, it’s stated a very very good static pressure measurement. But I dont really trust those claims judging from the price haha. But the mod is fairly simple... cut a bracket out from a sheet of stainless steel to mount the fans onto the gpu, use a mini pwm to pwm adapter and done. Will take 1-2 weeks for the fan to arrive so when it arrives i will definitely post here.

Well apart from the obvious size difference, will the SFX version be louder? Am on the lookout for new PSU as well. Right now am looking at the Fractal ION+ 860w. The price difference between that and this SFX is not much but I worry about the SFX fan will have to work double time since it's smaller.

I guess people buy SFX due to the SSF case... there's no point to go SFX if you are using ATX case...

really dont see the point of paying so much premium for a card that will be obselete very quickly because of the 10gb vram... I can easily make the 3080 run out of vram sweat.gif (having buyer’s remorse lol)
*
Some people not planning to switch mah

Also rumoured pricing of 3080ti is 999 USD which gonna be 4.5k+ starting in Malaysia for the cheapest lotac or whatever

That will likely be the same or slightly better performance with a strong strix minus the extra vram, which is actually ok if you look at it this way

Ya I know but having a smaller sized PSU also frees up quite a bit of space. The case I'm using now is Meshify C. Not really a "full" sized ATX.

I guarandamntee you that 3080Ti will be starting at RM5k at the very minimum in this songlap land. 4.5k? Higher chance for you to strike toto.

Hopefully not as loud as the zotac stock fans which is actually already very quiet haha. Problem with zotac is the shroud design which creates some humming noise from turbulence.. Deshrouding and having the fan blow directly through the fins will eliminate these noise.

yeah.. which is actually kinda my point... double the vram has way more advantage than youd imagine... double weh.. not like extra 2 or 4gb but double!
