What model cooler (looks like MSI Gaming?)? It is very, very important to get the correct thickness otherwise you'll end up with having low VRAM temps but then high AF GPU hotspots.

Personally I use Kriticalpads.

I don't think liquid metal would be advisable in this case in case of damage or improper application. Wondering what thermal paste would be best?

Good idea to try. How about others like Thermalright's TRX paste?

Yes I bought the thermal pads for VRAM. Damn expensive this Thermal Grizzly. Only to find out it was 3cm x3cm only and not enough for all the VRAMs.  So I didn't use it.

Boy, I am so so sooooooooooo happy.

I solved my GPU overheating problem and it is because of the damn original thermal paste. When I detached the heatsink, I found the thermal paste hard and cracking. Like cheese cake put out in the open for 1 year. 

Luckily the thermal pads was soft and easily put back into place.

I bought coolermaster mastergel pro v2, applied it, reassemble the whole thing, fired up my rig and wow! Gaming temps for "Control" game was 56'c instead of reaching thermal throttling of 83'c in less than a minute!! 

At least now I have solved my GPU problem and tamed the 13700k. So happy.

Deshrouded GPU. Previously deshrouded so quite easy to remove the shroud as I previously didn't screw in one screw hidden behind the display port.

The final assembly. Quite easy to adjust the height of the fans as I just need to  screw or unscrew the gpu stand at the base.

I just bought FSP Hydro Ti Pro 1000W. My Corsair AX850 Titanium died after almost 3 years.

Any comparison between pci-e 4 and 5th for 5090?

I currently have a 12v-2x6 cable that comes with the NZXT C850 plugged into my 5080. Hopefully it doesn't burn. Zotac's 5080 has a light indicator to make sure you plugged in the cable correctly.

Hi Sifu, I'm using an RTX 3050 Ti, but when I try to update my driver through the GeForce software, it keeps failing and says the installation can't continue due to an error.  

5080+9800x3d at 1440p ultra with mhw benchmark tool , I score average 130fps without FG only dlss Q
But I overclock 5080 to 3.2ghz and cpu to 5.4ghz
