Just manage to sold my 980Ti before price plunges down.

I hope 1080Ti drop below 2K.

Last time 980Ti same price range with 1080TI and i able to purchased 2nd-hand for Rm1700 after Nvidia release 1070/1080.

Feel like selling my 980ti, but not upgrading to the 11 series xD

Can't wait to play Monster Hunter World. I should be able to get around 60fps on High settings on 1440p with the GTX1070ti.

1160 to reach here on dec is very good timing as i plan to upgrade from 960 2gb 😅😅😅 . Now still menabung until year end.  And also hope the performance is between 1070 and 1070ti. 🤔

So cheap meh? When it was no mining craze in 2016 I bought mine at 1.9k, itupun other normal 1070s are around 2.1k, i just managed to korek one cheap.

Once the new GPU drop, can probably get used GTX1070 at the price of a new high end GTX1060.

what happen to 1050ti/1060 if 1070 @ 1.1k?

As long as they're isn't any competition from AMD, i don't think they'll keep the same price. Just be happy as long as you can get slight more performance out of the next gen card for the same price even if that's mean a tier downgrade (1060 3G -> 2050).

Oh and Malaysia distro is indeed greedy in the past, but we'll see how price compare with the Trump's new tariff.

I'm not sure why everyone is so excited to buy founders edition cards?

The GTX1070 and GTX1080 were announced around May 2016, it took until around November 2016 before I bought my custom GTX1070 at "reasonable" prices. They were either priced too high or out of stock earlier. I'm guessing the new series will face the same timelines.

Anyway best of luck to all those buying, I'll sit this generation out for now.

As for the NDA, i believe it will follow the release date, which is 20th September 2018.
