I was using FTW3 for a while, it's a good card. Just that my sample had too much coil whine for my liking, so decided to sell it.
*
at that time how much did you sell it?.

I even linked available stock here multiple times. Asus TUF non-OC RTX 3080 is gone for good due to Asus being greedy.
*
Yup I totally notice that. Your post has been really helpful.

Its funny, just few months ago I was arguing that Ray Tracing and maybe DLSS are important going forward because more games will adopt it while some people die2 said "just few games on market use them, its not gonna affect me".

Now its the sunshine stars of features. A big point in making decision when buying a new GPU.

NVIDIA due to the stock problems of the RTX 3060, decides to return to produce the RTX 2060 and RTX 2060 Super graphics, at almost same price with RTX 3060

Its cool that Nvidia actually making some move try to do something about this mining situation. Meanwhile AMD krik.. krik. I bet they just gonna copy Nvidia tactics.

Im probably gullible, this could be just a PR move but its nice to hear something like this rather than nothing.

If that rumor is true and the mining nerf is implemented on a hardware level, imagine the price shoot up of the current SKUs.
*
Im fine with that. tongue.gif

according to nvidia, they are supposedly using dies that didnt qualify for gpu to make the CMP. Which means they’re making use of the left overs. So if that’s true, it wont affect gpu production at all and it could be better too especially if the cmp are sold significantly cheaper.
*
Can only hope that is true.

Was just asking around with my indon and SG buds.
indon 3080 is like USD 850
SG 3090 is USD 1.7k

Recent purchases somemore
*
lmao either make up story or you kena tipu. Tokopedia pricing for 3060 already RM3.7k converted.
SG no need to tell, their pc hardware has always been priced higher than Malaysia, just like Japan. Been so long edy.

So gamers are contributing heavily to the price increase as well.
*
that statement kinda feel like jumping straight to conclusion. its more like gamers contribute to shortage. gamers dont necessarily control the price. gamers just gaming. I dont think theres any group of people can be blame "heavily". Its a collective problems.

Digital Mall PJ ah?

Czone’s customer service is pretty rubbish - told me I can only buy a GC if I bundle full PC including case. PC Image allowed me to skip the case because I already have a case, they were flexible enough to close an eye.
*
I contact them asking for build, said 3080 no stock. Then offer me EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 4.6k. I look at "lowclass shop" they offer RM3.8k only same model. aiya RM1k different. I ask Czone if price is lower for full bundle he said same price and they dont sell unit only anyways.

Just buy. Graphic card prices are not going to drop anytime soon.

1. Nvidia selling to miners directly.
2. Crypto boom not going down anytime soon until the bubble pops.
3. Rise of the scalping economy among youngsters and impatient buyers that keep feeding them.
*
4. chip shortage is still a thing.

GeForce RTX 3070 - GA104-302 (PCI Device ID: 2488)

I believe according to Nvidia the LHR will be labelled in retail product listings and on the box. I cant wait to see the first independent benchmark comparing the performance of both variant.

seems like idealtech already offering this, but even the pre-order, yet to be finalized price is this high
*
Idealtech and some other shop already impose new m.o too. Not only you have to buy bundle, your bundle must follow their tier list. You want i5 proc with that 3080 Ti?, fuck you then.
