Its funny, just few months ago I was arguing that Ray Tracing and maybe DLSS are important going forward because more games will adopt it while some people die2 said "just few games on market use them, its not gonna affect me".
Now its the sunshine stars of features. A big point in making decision when buying a new GPU. |

Its cool that Nvidia actually making some move try to do something about this mining situation. Meanwhile AMD krik.. krik. I bet they just gonna copy Nvidia tactics.
Im probably gullible, this could be just a PR move but its nice to hear something like this rather than nothing. This post has been edited by Rhetoric: Feb 19 2021, 02:52 AM |

QUOTE(Bonchi @ Feb 21 2021, 12:11 PM) according to nvidia, they are supposedly using dies that didnt qualify for gpu to make the CMP. Which means they’re making use of the left overs. So if that’s true, it wont affect gpu production at all and it could be better too especially if the cmp are sold significantly cheaper. Can only hope that is true. |

QUOTE(zzzz52 @ Mar 24 2021, 12:15 PM) that statement kinda feel like jumping straight to conclusion. its more like gamers contribute to shortage. gamers dont necessarily control the price. gamers just gaming. I dont think theres any group of people can be blame "heavily". Its a collective problems. |

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Apr 26 2021, 02:32 PM) Digital Mall PJ ah? I contact them asking for build, said 3080 no stock. Then offer me EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 4.6k. I look at "lowclass shop" they offer RM3.8k only same model. aiya RM1k different. I ask Czone if price is lower for full bundle he said same price and they dont sell unit only anyways.Czone’s customer service is pretty rubbish - told me I can only buy a GC if I bundle full PC including case. PC Image allowed me to skip the case because I already have a case, they were flexible enough to close an eye. |

QUOTE(Icehart @ Apr 27 2021, 10:01 PM) Just buy. Graphic card prices are not going to drop anytime soon. 4. chip shortage is still a thing.1. Nvidia selling to miners directly. 2. Crypto boom not going down anytime soon until the bubble pops. 3. Rise of the scalping economy among youngsters and impatient buyers that keep feeding them. |
