After seeing all the releases, I feel the best card out there for price and actual usable features is the igame ultra/advance. They’re the only cheap 3X8pin out there. Not sure about the cooling performance with their rather compact heatsink...whether it’s adequet to push beyond 400W but they should work super well underwater.
*
ultra is so so, the advance is better for just rm200 more.

It’s just the shroud... remove it and it’s the same. Flash a strix bios and they all can clock close to a strix but on 100% fan laugh.gif ... or just slap on a waterblock.

Sadly im very certain my SF750w and even if i upgrade to 850w sfx by coolermaster.. 450w+ gpu powerdraw will cause my psu to shutdown. laugh.gif so I didnt go for the igame.

Little did anyone know, Bone stock reference pcb like galax SG, Colorful battleX,gigabyte eagle that i could confirm all uses 13+3 phase and same amount of caps on the phases.. i believe MSI ventus X3 and the xc3 is the same as well.. These are all the neglected cards that are ditched aside along with zotac.. which you can buy under 3.4k
*
advanced has bigger cooler and more power phases iinm, that's why rm200 more expensive. The price markup is kinda justified. The ultra weighs 1.3kg and the advanced 1.6kgs

the advance uses an all metal shroud while the ultra is plastic. which explains the weight difference the heatsink and fans are identical. Same phases too if i remember correctly but even so, given the minimum of 13phase of 50A, that’s 650A of current which is more than capable to go over 400w at 0.9~1.3v.

Perhaps the only difference i could think of is they could be binned differently.
*
from the photos on the website the heatsinks looked different, and metal shroud alone won't weigh like 300grams more.

They are identical, just the heatsink/cooler different. With that pricing i think it is definitely one of the best 3080 in terms of price/performance factor.

Hmmm I just bought a used 21 days old gigabyte 3070 gaming oc from garage sales.

But can’t get my expected result... I thought can hit over 120 fps in my 1440p ultrawide monitor in mhw.

Hmmmm maybe should try Asus tuf 3080 non oc or zotac trinity
*
Did you try DLSS on it? Without DLSS maybe around 80-90+fps, with DLSS should be able to get 120fps. What about CPU utilization?

EDIT: oh you are using ultrawide...

I havent dip into gaming too much recent years, but heard DRM causing issue to game before.
Somemore DRM license not cheap  doh.gif

yes, rumored crytek paid denuvo 140000 euros for DRM on crysis remastered

it is a remastered game with mostly already made game assets, they should have just forgo the DRM, saved that initial investment and sell the game at like 10usd at launch, would have sold like hotcakes.

Me also but I do know DRM causing issue for some games before, since pirated one no issue, I can only suspect original one have issue is due to DRM.
Ya, really no point, if this is truth then I can only said Crytek is stupid! The games Crysis Remastered already get cracked, this means if the paid was truth, Crytek paid for fun.

I am not support illegal games but I also not support DRM. Haha! It is human made, Human A can made it, for sure Human B can cracked it.
Unless it was made by Alien, then different story. tongue.gif

By the way, the Crysis Remastered I found it so so only, it is better than before but won't give you wow effect. I already put at the maximum setting, but it do run far smoother than original one.
*
It's for those younger kids that haven't really played crysis before haha

Look at the shadows of the vegetation on the ground in front of this ass reboot of Lara Croft, you can basically make out the pixel blocks.

But..but muh supercomputer machine AI learning. Yeah no. This looks even worse in motion. Honestly, we should leave all this gay upscaling to consoles.

I like the idea of using a higher resolution image and downsampling but this upscaling shit is pure snake oil
*
in shadow of tomb raider, can you choose the different levels of dlss? I found the performance setting is blocky and pixelated, quality looked really good, but that's on fortnite.

Oh nice, I will test Fortnite out later. Didn't even know that game has it.
*
although the ray tracing looked nice, it's not really usable for competitive gaming in fortnite. Not high enough fps to run 1440p and have stutters. I still use non ray tracing to get constant 160fps without dips.

Why people always believe these fake leaks. Remember when the 3070 was gonna dominate 2080ti? How did that turn out?
*
for the price and since 3070 is practically brand new with full warranty, 2400+ is not bad.

My last gpu was a mining unit 1080ti and that worked great. We shall see how this psu fares.
*
most important thing is the psu have mnanufacturer warranty left. But I kinda don't like mining power supplies simply because most miners put it open bench style, no filters to the fans and dusts accumulates on the fans and internals. On open bench mining gpu you don't have much issues cleaning the fans and heatsink.

I've opened PSU shrouds before, so in terms of getting rid of dust, I don't really think it will be a big problem. Also warranty about 7 years left.
*
depends on the model and brand if they allow you to open it without voiding warranty, how easy or hard to disassemble and assemble back etc.

Since bought through Shopee, I definitely will return if got issues. Also warranty with shop in KL and also EVGA so at the very least I can just RMA. If the miner manage to wear out this premium power supply in 2 years I will be shocked.

how much was the psu?

I second Arctic P12. I changed all my fans in the case to the P14 because it's just so damn good especially for the price. Previously they were Be Quiet Silent Wings 3, which were also good but doesn't generate as much air pressure as the P12.
*
Even using the arctic P14 as exhaust fan at the back? Is it running at 1800rpm queit? Really curious because the F14 has the same airflow but ran slower at 1350rpm, but rated as same noise level as P14 at 1800rpm?

I just cannot brain people buying rm3-4-5k GPU or parts but cant afford a fkin decent PSU that's like what, rm500 for 850W?
Like those poor posey buggers can buy a conti car with installments but cant afford to buy decent tyres  mega_shok.gif
literal autism there
Fkin PSUs are dirt cheap these days compared to 5-10 years ago JFC

And even back then I would never advised people to cheap out on the PSU lmao
*
lol yeah, quality PSU now can be had like rm100-200 cheaper than last time. Now there's alot competition with many good psus

I always heard people said great on bookshelf speaker 2.0, frank speak I never step into this level yet.
I scared later I cannot stop spending. Haha!

Anyway may I know what kind of bookshelf speaker 2.0 is worth to get.
A reasonable price one, not giant expensive price.
*
Last time in KL they had AV fair with system setup showcase in hotel rooms. Some speakers looked small and cheap but man they sounded crazy good even with cheaper amps and power supplies. Many people ordered lol
