It could be that way.

My thoughts on this issue is; 50% caused by user did not fully plug in, and 50% due to Nvidia changed the 12vhpwr socket design from vertical and at angle (in 3000 series) to lying flat on the PCB (4000 series). Evidently the 3000 cards, both FE & AIB, did not have such issues.

If 4090, can claim warranty even if user fault, Nvidia claims. Also includes adapter issue lol.

Also some shop would have like a few weeks of one to one exchange, like if you buy from RacunTech, TMT and etc to name a few. If not satisfied with certain parts they recommend, could change to another one just topup a bit or replace if same price.

1 to 1 also.. if lets say buy 4090 got issue, no stock also to exchange rip. I ask around still no ready stock mostly.. laku keras.

screen reso : 3440 x 1440 ; 144Hz

Mostly playing FPS games i.e COD:BOCW ; Battlefield 5/2042 and the likes

I am using 4K previously, now I am back to Super Ultrawide in 5120x1440.
I am fine with this 32:9 aspect ratio as mostly new games, if not support will auto set to 21:9 or 16:9 aspect ratio with both side black bar.

I still prefer at least Ultrawide.

4K also sometimes a bit heavy if set everything maximum quality even I am using 4090.
