This is the 2nd I heard from ALLIT, quite surprise they do this kinda underhanded tactic being so large & established brandname not some sketchy online seller.

Maybe they only wanted to sell 1 unit at the cheap price to game the Shopee search algo so that buyers will see this and buy the remainder stocks at normal prices.

in the afternoon, it was still 1039. at night (I checked at 9pm), the offer was gone. I checked again at midnight to be sure.
this is not the first time I see this from big retailers.

EOL Windows driver support for older CPUs without POPCNT instruction

https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5554

Beginning with the Release 555, NVIDIA display drivers will no longer support older CPUs that do not support POPCNT (Popuulation Count) instruction. While these CPUs are already officially not supported on Microsoft's Windows 10/Windows 11, if a user with a PC using an unsupported CPU attempts to install R555+ display drivers, the PC will bugcheck/BSOD when booting into Windows. To check if your PC supports POPCNT instruction:

1. Download the utility Coreinfo from Microsoft's website:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysintern...nloads/coreinfo

For 5.1 surround, is it delivered via Dolby Digital Live / DTS Connect or uncompressed via HDMI eARC?

Because our distributors loves bringing products that has marked up prices. Like RM3360 Asus TUF RTX 3080 10GB that comes with one single batch. Then its gone for good. Chose to sell tiny OC Asus TUF OC at RM3880 instead!.
*
if you think gpu is highly marked up here, audio video market is even worse. x6 to x9 (compare to just x5 USD) is common. sad.gif

Moddiy Recommends Not Using 2024 12V-2x6 Cables for RTX 5090 GPUs

Moddiy to advise that cables built before 2025 should not be used with the new Nvidia GPUs based on the Blackwell architecture. These older cables, identified with an "H+" marking, were constructed using the previous 12VHPWR specifications. In contrast, the new cables, labeled as "H++," feature enhancements that improve power distribution and reduce the risk of overheating, ensuring they can handle the higher electrical loads demanded by modern GPUs. Unlike older cables based on the original 12VHPWR standard, the new models produced from 2025 onward come with thicker wiring and improved materials for both connectors and terminal housings.

remember when everyone says there is no change to the power plug (cable side) when changing from 12vhpwr to 12x-2x6 standard? lmao tongue.gif

Received Zotac RTX 5090 AMP Infinity today.
Just installed it, up and running.
Done with extended warranty registration.

Though.......why is the damn 12VHPWR so warm during GPU-Z stress test?
I am using FSP Hydro G PRO ATX3.0(PCIe5.0) 1000W native 12VHPWR cable.

I'm scared and started buying mobo and ram.
I have tracked DDR5 6000 CL30 ram and price doesn't drop in a year. very disappointed.
