I'm seeing a spike in bitcoin/etherium/other digital currency at the moment.
What are the chances miners going after graphic cards now since the prices have been falling very close to MSRP in some countries?

Remember that this price is when launch 1 and half years ago. Intel is coming in another 3 months, after that AMD new GPU and RTX 40 series. Paying full price now might not be worth it.

Seeing those 3090 cards go down to RM8199 on shopee is abit surreal.

Anyway some sneak peak 3090 TI cards here:

Could be fake though tongue.gif

Yes, seeing all the cards go down, after holding off for like, 2 years.. feels like just want to go grab one. But people are advising me to wait a bit more  ph34r.gif

I know that feeling all too well.
Each time I see a price cut, I remind myself of the forbidden fruit.

That is if you are using a new casing that has a vertical mount capability.
If you are using those old style case that still has those 5.25 drive bays, you are out of luck. lol

Ah crap, HAF922 here. Am I screwed if I go for STRIX variant?

Nah. I'm using that TUF in the ATCS 840. The sagging is minimum IMO.
But I just use some lego parts and made a stand there to support it, works great.
HAF922, that is a old case.. outdated ... lolx

Yup, they don't make em like they use to.

When are the next round of discounts coming?

I suspect we'll see a minor price cut after May 10th, when the RDNA2 refresh hit our shorelines.

Is it safe to assume 3090 non-TI edition have been discontinued?

With lockdowns in effect in parts of China, I'm surprised to hear Intel wanting to launch there first.

Have garage sales someone is selling 3070 for 1800. 3080 for 2500. Really cheap.

Those prices make it look like mining cards.
