driver still got problem
Don't trust Nvidia's temperature readings on Windows, they're currently broken

The latest driver released a few days ago has issues, my MH wilds crashing left and right after installed it. Quickly rolled back to 1 version before it and everything good again.

It’s ok, i’m lazy to debate with you. Peoples who bought the GPU are enjoying it anyway.

I am enjoying it with gaming and AI thumbsup.gif

My last desktop was around 15 years ago with a GTX 295 (Stupid SLI. Asus Flagship GPU with RM1899), the GPU temp could reach 80-90c easily. I am surprised the RTX 5090 always staying at 50+-60+ never even once reaching 70 (the gpu usage is always fluctuating at 95%-99% max i don't know why altho full setting with 4k)

Which RTX5090 are you using? The temperature is absolutely fantastic.

Monitor : MSI MPG 322URX QD-OLED Gaming Monitor 31.5" 240Hz UHD
GPU : MSI RTX 5090 Suprim SOC
Mobo : MPG X870E CARBON WIFI
CPU : AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
Ram : GS-F5-6000 64Gig
Artic Freezer III 360 ARGB-BK
Lianli EDGE EG1300 Black

The CPU's temp was around 50+-60+ also if if remember correct, after i overclocked it it becomes 60+-78 when gaming. So far never see it over 80c.

Anyone tried the Stellar Blade demo? Seems smooth on my side but I notice very slight hitching when hitting enemies or loading new scenes. Still playable compared to the horrid Square GOTG game. That one stutters like crazy. Close to impossible to play. Thinking of dropping it completely.
*
Sometimes stuttering could be due to shader issue. For example, after the monster hunter wilds' update, the game stuttering like hell. I did a driver roll back, re-loaded the shader, and then re-installed the latest driver again, and reloaded the shader again, then the stuttering issue solved.

Tested, no such issues on my side

This game seems good graphics but at the same time it does feel a bit like combination of ps3 feeling + next gen feeling

Highest setting based FPS around 200+-, with frame genx4 getting around 450-700+fps

If you have watched Hardware Unboxed analysis on 8GB cards, the texture difference is significant compared to 12/16GB cards, not to mention you'll have to deal with game stuttering due to constant swapping between VRAM and system memory sweat.gif
Those are huge, and often unacceptable compromises in PC gaming IMHO icon_idea.gif
Arc may be a mess on older systems but at least they got the hardware side of things right - and Intel is indeed working on their drivers quite diligently icon_idea.gif
Of course if you are willing to up your budget you can already get a 9060 XT 16GB for around the same price as the 5060 icon_idea.gif

Hmmm, i was using RTX 4070 (8gb) on laptop before. There wasn't any stuttering when i was gaming on it, even blackmyth Wukong was running pretty good on it with frame gen around 70-90+fps with average settings.

Dangerous la, I was planning to upgrade to the 5090 since I just need to top up a few thousand if I sell my 4090.. but at this point it's too dangerous to even consider. Especially the part where if shit hits the fan, i'm not sure if I could even claim warranty, if I could..would they even honour it lol

Don't be scared. My 5090 is still working great after 6 months bruce.gif

And last sentence of the article :

"In this case, the issue appears likely to be an issue with PNY’s assembly procedure, and less likely NVIDIA’s problem."
