Just hope price will get lower and reach before sst implement at Sept.
Saw the news on https://www.techradar.com/news/graphics-car...ocurrency-slump price drop to 20%.

Now still think whether to get a cheap gtx 1060 or even 1050 as temp or wait until gtx 1160.

Do you think there will be Turing gtx 1150 ? performance = gtx 1060 3gb ?

SST not affect to computer part right?

hello guys, is GTX 1060 worth for 240hz gaming? I dont want to spend 3k++ (1080ti) for a 2 years old card. Just wondering if anyone use 1060 with 240hz monitor. Thanks

My specs are 8700k, 16gb ram.

i dont think even 1080ti can push all games to 240fps, unless games like cs go

if u never tried 144hz monitor, u wont feel the difference, once 144hz, going back to 60hz is pain to ur eyes, even mouse cursor in dekstop feels laggy dry.gif

Thats good. Using 1080ti?
Playing fast pace shooting games require highest framerate if u want to be competitive. Thats why I bought 240hz because later no need to upgrade. Never test 144hz, coming from 60hz laugh.gif

cheaper motherboard would suffice?

i really hope that's the case, because i would afraid that it might be not compatible(that's just my assumption laa) when it comes to matching with GTX1080 graphic card and i7-7700 processor, because i only care about the 2 criteria(graphic card + processor), the rest like PSU, sound card, casing blablabla can be picked later if i wanna narrow down my budget more, but since motherboard is also one of the core components in any rig, i need to pay attention to it also

currently the motherboard that i'm eyeing on is ASUS PRIME H310M-Kv with price of RM275, not sure if i should top and and go for more unsure.gif

wait, so meaning it has the exact same cooler with amp! edition but with stock speed? meaning lower power draw / temperature out of box?
meaning i can just OC to match the clock speed sweat.gif
