Lower some graphic settings and the card still can continue working.
I still using my 2070 but will change the card soon once the price go down a bit more. I think next gen 4070 probably will be priced same as current 3070 ti MSRP.

I'm still sticking with 1440p. If want 4k I think better get xx80 or xx90 card

Hard to say what's going to happen by end of this year. If miners and retailers continue dumping price to clear stock and Nvidia launch 4000 series, 3000 series price might fall more.

Ya, I believe inflation also will play major role on next gen GPU price, Nvidia will likely raise the MSRP compare to 3060/3070/3080 MSRP. Distributors and retailers also got burned with their 2000 series stock during 3000 series launch, this time I think they'll make sure to clear their inventories before 4000 series launch. And if bitcoin price increase back, price will balloon back again.

I think 4060 will have same performance as 3070, so best aim 3070 at 4060 possible MSRP. Around 2k would be my guess.

With all the recent leaks, sounds like Nvidia still pushing for 40 series release this year. Might be worth to wait till after announcement then consider getting 40 or more discount for 30 series.

Maybe Nvidia pushing early manufacturing of the 40 series to capitalize on GPU shortage, but then bitcoin price drop and most miners don't want to buy new card anymore.

My take from the announcement is 40 series is for FOMO market. For mid range and budget, Jensen ask to buy 30 series of 80/70/60.

RT on without any DLSS. With DLSS 2 it's getting 60+ fps.
Probably not much performance increase in compute, only in DLSS engine.

MB really depends on which CPU you want to get. If 7600x you can't get MB with DDR4

If check regularly will cause it to melt. If didn't check regularly then when start melting also don't know.

Maybe can regularly smell at the connector if got burning smell.
