Didn't Nvidia & GN ady showed that most of the time its due to user did not fully insert the socket? Changing the design how the cable connects still doesn't change the intrinsic sensitivity of the connector itself.

This one was fully interested all the way.
Yet it still burned. At this point, i might as well get the RX 7900 XTX.

Useless benchmark

Unfortunately the FPS is capped by my monitor 75Hz refresh rate, I think could get up to 100 FPS with a faster monitor.
*
They should uncap the framerate like SF4 and force cap during online play only.

QUOTE
A Reddit user has published his purported communications with MSI, and the company's employee claims that their graphics card failed because of a 12VHPWR CableMod adapter with 'manufacturing and tolerance issues,' which voids the MSI warranty.

"There is an ongoing issue with CableMod's adapter seemingly due to manufacturing and tolerance issues with the CableMod adapter," an alleged statement by MSI reads. "You will need to contact CableMod as their third-party adapter has caused an issue and voided the warranty on your graphics card."

Everything; supply shortages, US restrictions, AI, inflation, the other AI (PMX) & his Pakatan Govt, scalpers, post Eth mining is back but only 4090 is profitable, overpriced 4080 meant more gamers willing to pay xtra for 4090, the inflation of leather jackets, useless AMD cannot compete at the very top leaving the king untouched.

Our ringgit being worst performer in this region is not a myth bro. After my travels, the Euros that I changed early this year is worth more today even after factor in mamak commission.

Back to point. I been tracking SSD prices for the same period, and only in Msia it is going up while globally its gone down (but predicted soon to go up again). So yeah...
*
I definitely won't deny that RINGGIT is one of the worst performing currency. From my observation during Deepavalli holiday, I noticed the number of people going for outings have drastically reduced.

On Nvidia stuff, I noticed those 4070 and 4070 ti variants seem to have settled between RM25xx and Rm34xx price point during 11.11 sale. This is despite RTX 4090 prices increasing Rm10xxx.
Curious to see how M'sia retailers will milk the upcoming SUPER variants next year.

CableMod issues recall for 12v angled adapters

QUOTE
It has come to our attention that certain CableMod 12VHPWR Angled Adapter V1.1s may be defective. We have since decided to discontinue sales of our angled adapters. We will be conducting a voluntary safety recall for all CableMod 12VHPWR 90 ÌŠ and 180 ÌŠAngled Adapters V1.0 and all CableMod 12VHPWR 90 ÌŠ and 180 ÌŠ Angled Adapters V1.1 because of the potential risk that the male connector could become loose, overheat, and melt into the GPU

Oh dear...

Seems most of the 4080 Super cards are cheaper on Shopee compared to Lazada.

The rumor comes from Quasarzone who talked to South Korean industry experts who highlighted that NVIDIA is informing its partners about limited shipments for its GeForce RTX 40 "Ada' GPUs as the launch of RTX 50 "Blackwell" GPUs approaches for 2H 2024.

I believe this will depend on the inventory levels of 4080 and 4080 super. If it's too low, probably a late December launch for 5080.

QUOTE
Reports from Chinese Board Channels suggest that NVIDIA and its partners are planning to end the production of GeForce RTX 4090 & RTX 4090D GPUs starting next month. Although the plans have not been cemented into the ground yet, it is reported that October will mark the discontinuation of the flagship graphics cards & several retailers can expect shortages as the GPUs are still very much in demand despite their high price tags. The shortages may even lead to prices going further up.

That explains the cheap 4080 Super I saw during 9.9 sale:
