Hi there fellow lowyat users!
I am currently using a Maxis Fibre 30mbps. My modem is set up in the storeroom at 1st floor of my house, and I hardly get stable wifi in my room up on the second floor. I'm getting 5 mbps on average, with occasional disconnections on a daily basis.
I am considering to buy a better router for better range and speed.
I am considering NETGEAR R6700 Nighthawk AC1750 Smart Dual Band WiFi Router (R6700). It’s quite popular overseas but I’m just concerned that it might not work in Malaysia. Should I be concern of anything?
Do kindly let me know if you have better suggestions on other routers!
You guys rock. please help a brother out.
Happy to see your enthusiasm to find a new router but you don’t have to put everything in caps on the title. We will still help you if you don’t don’t do that lol. Anyway, why buy Netgear when you can get decent routers here? Please state your budget, are you currently using VoIP or IPTV, and what is important for you in a new router?
