Getting Started

|
I'm looking to buy an external hard drive for my PS4. Can someone recommend me some cheap (but good) one? Preferably between RM100 - RM250. It doesn't have to be very large, just 1 - 2 TB will do. I tried to Google it but way too many brands that I've never heard of came out. So to be safe I choose to ask here.
Thanks everyone!

I'm using Seagate Firecuda 1TB. So far so good. Does help with the loading times compared to stock hard drive. About 20-40% faster.
But that's internal. For external, my WD elements works ok.

I bought the Seagate 2TB Firecuda SSHD hours before I bought my PS4 Pro. Swap it in and never even bothered to think about external HDD.

The improvement will not be as clear as using a PC. The loading time is mainly atributed to loading of textures, maps etc from the game data. Which if you put in the external, might actually be slower. The OS itself is quite streamlined.
