Yesterday I tried to gift an annual dota plus subscription, note that I never played this game, not even once, so I'm totally unaware of the gifting restriction in place. What happened after that is the gifting failed, because "At your battle point level you may not gift non-tradable. This gift could not be sent.", yet the purchase stupidly went through. Not noticing that, I tried to the gifting again, and of course the same notice popped up. Now I have 2 Dota Plus Annual Membership in my inventory.

Auto refund rejected my attempt because "The items you purchased have been consumed, traded, or modified. Refunds are typically not issued for in-game purchases unless all items from that purchase are still in your inventory.". Absolute bullshit. I can accept the gifting restriction, but having the purchase went through when they know that the gifting will fail is just scummy, even refusing refund when there is no way the item modified, consumed or traded even. I've sent another refund request directly to the support team this time.

If they refuse the refund again, I'll have to somehow raise my battle point level just to get rid of these


Wiki states that I need to be at least level 5 = 750 battle point before I can gift this, how many game is that, for newbie?
