Hi,

If I made a RM 100 self contribution to my EPF account, does all the money goes into:

- Account 1 only, or
- 70% to account 1 and 30% to account 2?

What do you mean benefits of a/c 2?
As far as I know, acc 2 is for early withdrawal, that's it. The interest rate still the same

Wrong info. I made self contribution from time to time. 70% goes to acc 1 and 30% goes to acc 2. cool2.gif

there are many thing a/c 1 cannot do....while a/c 2 can...
therefore a/c 2 got more utilisation benefits

I was wondering why do self contribution EPF?
You can put your money in ASNB, not better ROI??

some opt for tax exempt.
others opt for some scheme by government (ie. sp1m)

I also self-contribute. Can confirm the money goes to Acc 1 and acc 2 (checked in statements).
