I will fully support 3M Crystalline for the whole car.

Front CR50, rest CR40.

You're right; In fact I just got my car tinted yesterday, C70 front and C40 side/rear; I saw C50 and was surprised that it was quite lightly tinted; hence I went for the C40, which turned out to be a slight shade darker than C50 and quite hard to differentiate in normal conditions.

Although, I did notice that my front windscreen C70 does make my front view looked a bit hazy, like there is a slight oil smear on your glasses, it makes the entire view looked a bit foggy and hazy; did you experience this with your SECH60?
I tinted mine for RM1,800 flat; including removal, installation and GST; workmanship was top notch; just the slight hazy front view is quite irritating, planning to follow-up with the installer next weekend.

where did you get/do your HO tint?

Why not try the new transition technology film, Hamel? So it will get dark when under the sun but will get lighter when dark. I'm curious to try it myself actually.

It has some grade/level also with different prices. If not mistaken the cheapest one goes up to max 50%.

Worth considering if they have different VLT especially for the front windows.

I have 3M Crystalline installed across my F30. Front windscreen CR70, rear windscreen CR40, 4 windows SCR40 (Scothshield smash proof). So far the heat rejection has been quite impressive. Wished the visible light could be lower though but unfortunately for scothshield they only have SCR40 which is 40% VLT.

Btw I have installed Hamel photocromic tint on all 3 cars of mine and I like it. The tint can be up to 50% dark during the sun and enough to make your eyes comfortable without wearing sunglasses while at night it turns clear enough not to hamper your vision, probably around 25-30% dark only. I wouldn't bother trying other tints now that there's this type of tints.

Sounds ideal!
How much does it cost? And how's the heat rejection like (compared to HO/3M)?

Around rm500 for half the car.
Don't know about those coz didn't ask/measure. I never used those other expensive tints too.

Only the front half? Which package did you sign up for?
I mean heat rejection in terms of day to day use - is it good in your experience?
