Hi guys, can anyone recommend a good shoe shop for someone with Plantar Fasciitis? I've had them for about 2 years now and had been using FitFlop shoes since. Now need to replace and FitFlop got no sale so looking to other shops. Wondering if any products from New Balance, Skechers or any other place would have something suitable?

I used to have this very painful problem and problems in walking. I use soft silicone heel inserts that is shaped like a wedge. No need special shoes. Just put this inserts in the shoes. You can buy these from pharmacies.

However, I learned a form of exercise from internet to cure. You stand and face 1ft or 2 ft away from a wall. You stretch yr hand palm faced on the surface and push forward. Do not bend your knees but lean forward with straight knees. You will feel the stretch on yr leg muscle especially the back of yr feet. You can bend your one of your knee and push. Try that every morning after getting up for 10 times. I did this for 1 month everyday, now had been cured already. Been many years already, no problems.

Hi,

I have plantar fascitis due to my overpronation of foot. I am currently using asics gel foundation to correct my plantar fascitis and the gel cushioning really helps too.

If youre looking to find a new shoe for your plantar fascitis, i suggest you look for 'stability' or 'motion control' types. U can google these. Hooe it helps

you can go guardian buy the support to stretch your leg when you sleep.. just wear it before you go to sleep.. so it stretches your plantar fascia so you will have lesser pain in the morning when you wake up.... plus do the exercise as shared by other above.... solve my plantar fascistis in about two weeks...
