Hi,

I just bought my 2nd guitar, its Memphis acoustic guitar and my 1st guitar is a kapok. I found out that tuning on memphis guitar is different with my kapok tuning. If i tune the 1st string, the 6th string will change also. If i tune back the 6th string, the 1st string is change also.

im using this g-string android app to tune the guitar.

if the tunings just ran a little keep tuning them all until it stabilize. Sometimes could be just bad strings.

maybe the neck is warped/intonation problem or you have to change to custom gauge strings and saddle/nuts

If it's a new guitar with new strings, it's not surprising that the pitch keeps changing after tuning. That's because your guitar (and strings) is stretching, bending, and getting used to the new tension. Just keep tuning across all 6 strings. If after some days (or weeks) the problem is still there, it might be a guitar neck or tuner problem.

All the best!

tuner i dont see any damage actually. Every screw is very tight, no movement during tuning. No bengkok and still shining.. But since you guys mention about the neck, i realize it get bending little bit when i tune the string.

Maybe i need send my guitar for health check at music store.

its not jammed but hte opposite its loose

reasons why i suspect the tuner is cause

1. its not your first so likely you have tuned guitars before and know the basics
2. normally unknown brands tend to use very bad hardware that can go from usable to totally useless
3. its often the easiest fix, tho a good set can cost you as much as a cheap guitar

which comes to...

if the neck is bending you are in big trouble, chances are no truss rood and the wood is shit, cause even without a truss rod the guitar wont change its tuning that fast

go to a shop, but i think you bought a real dog of a guitar
