Some only and the signal for astro channel is unstable, hang damn often.

But for some live tv have to still pay right? For me rm300 extra one time for the convenience and constant updates is quite ok.

I been using mine for almost a year already. Not sure what you mean by service interrupted, if you mean sometimes can’t get some channels then yes it happens and sometimes some channels get replaced but with so many channels, I just switch to a different channel if one or some of them cannot connect at that time.

The one I bought got prawn channels and also a plethora of porn vids on the video on demand.

With good internet connection you can get hd channels and like I said some channels only got interruptions most channels works fine all the time.

In terms of channels being discontinued and replaced, it happens for astro too.

The only main differences are:

1. Cannot change language and subtitles
2. No program list and info/summary(can’t view what’s the shows that showing next or summary of the show)
3. Entirely dependent on your internet speed, if you use unifi 10mb then be prepared at night when line slow can’t connect.
4. For video on demand, all the movie title is listed in Chinese, although you can see the original English title from the movie poster, unless you remember the translation of the movie name in Chinese, you won’t be able to search for it and have to keep scrolling and looking for the movie you want based on the poster.

So yeah in terms of convenience, definitely not as convenient as astro but functionality wise it works just fine.

Yeah I guess, not too sure about it coz I bought box that already preset everything and can plug and play. Too lazy to buy empty box and configure sendiri

Yup this is why I bought Ubox 4, their own app is good can direct plug and play and they already listed most of the other good apps on their popular apps list. Really convenient.


As long as people don’t expect exact Astro’s extra features then it’s ok
