#1 ya the sky was missing coz i am using spot metering for this pic.
#2 seems like i fail to bring out the feel. i purposely focus on the shell.
#3 is a sand castle actually

Here's some tips for you ...
1. Never use spot metering for seaside portraits, whether you're shooting a person or just a scenery you will screw up your exposure. Always use a lower ISO as well, I use the lowest possible ISO.
2. Good that you realise your mistake, you totally loose the feel

3. Maybe Shinchan tot it's part of Disneyland or something

One of my seaside model shoot I did in 2005 with local model Yong Loo Hui in PD : Even when shaded her face I can still see her face, she's walking towards me so I hid part of her legs so it looked as if she's walking up to wards me, sense of motion and direction. The after was really hot, about 11am after our breakfast.

Seaside portraiture is very very tricky coz you're dealing with extreme and uncontrolled sunlight, nowadays you still have to deal with extreme HEAT and SUNBURN!!
