it is obviously nothing to do with the unit but a lazy plumber.
The plumber dont want to do anything . the maker clearly states the unit position must be in the center and the height is fixed by the user height.
Somehow the outlet of the supply water is in the way of the unit and the plumber is daft.  He want to place it so it is easy to connect the pipe to the water supply.  He might as well locate the unit on the floor and just let the water pipe flow in.  Idiots like the plumber make me mad.  but owner who listen to them without thinking also deserved the mess.  And still so blur  to blame the unit.
