Whats up fellas?
So I recently bought Proton Preve 2013 and needless to say ICE sucks.
Atm my budget is not that good but I want to upgrade my speakers without changing headunit.
Currently installed headunit is factory unit.
I want mid-hi range for front and full-range for back speakers. 6.5" speakers ofcourse. I'm not sure if I can install 9" at the back or not because new to preve. I don't wanna cut the body.
I do have a 250watt amplifier lying around from my old proton satria. So I can use that too hopefully.

Current budget is: Maximum RM1000 for 4x 6.5 speakers + installation + wiring.

Can do it or nah? which one should I get? JBL? Rockford? or any other?

Preve speakers is good... perhaps changing ur head unit would do the trick

Nice! Looks good bro. I saw other options too on xcite. Is Focal better than Pioneer? Cuz Pioneer promotion offer cheaper.
Also, If I change my head unit. What can I get under RM500? I need Double din. Must have Bluetooth/CD/Radio. Any suggestion?

Focal is much better than pioneer bro..

Double din for bluetooth need to find bro if below 500.. think can get since double din is very common nowadays.. but reputable brand one will be higher than 500 bro.. you check in xciteaudio web bro..

Installation wont cost much unless needed additional wiring bro.. but u can ask xciteaudio whether they have any panel workshop bro.. Happy shopping bro

i second this. their Headunit sucks. especially 2013 which is bosch tak boleh pakai langsung.

Anyway TS. just get a component for front. can ignore the rear speakers.

Hi bro, just wondering if you could help me out here. So I’ve managed to salvage my hu (blaupunkt New York 830) by flashing a new firmware. However I think my speakers are gone coz when I connect my iPhone, the songs are actually playing on my phone but the audio is not transmitted/ intermittently transmitter thru my speakers both front and rear. Even the radio doesnt play thru the speakers . In this case, do u think all my speakers are roasted?

Maybe wiring problem
