To be honest I don't give a two hoots on what he does for Germany or any of this political bullshit going on. Hoeness was probably just finding a convenient scapegoat for Germany's failures in the world cup and Ozil was the easy target with the ongoing Erdogan debacle. I, like many of you do not believe he was Germany's worst player and solely to be blamed. To be honest he was pretty decent against Korea and was perhaps one of the better players on the pitch for Germany that night.

But, what I agree with Hoeness is, in an Arsenal shirt, Ozil, for a player of his quality, has been very poor aka shit overall for the past couple of years.

The only time he truly showed he was world class and played up to his ability and showed some consistency was the first half of the 15/16 season. Of course when I mean consistency I don't mean he has to put in a 10/10 performance every single game. The players are humans and of course a bad game once in awhile is a given. But to put in one decent performance and then that many poor performances after that, some to the point of being one of the worst players on the pitch so often since then is unacceptable.
