Removing IHS and cool it direct die

Hello guys. Recently i delid my i5 3570k and unfortunately the temperature is worse than before. Probably because the IHS not in contact with the chip . However, i was thinking to just cool it directly without IHS. Do i need some special bracket or anything. Appreciate any suggestions from you guys. Thank you
