the numbers represent your photos.. as photos in n95 are named by the date its taken. and i had some problem transfering files thru pc suit also.. but then i tried again after i close the error message and it was fine again.

no problem with syncing contacts.

I'm abit confuse by the camera setting, for the sharpness, which 1 is consider as 'fine' ? hard, normal or soft?
*
please put only normal or soft. cos the effect of Hard is very bad .. if u view the image in 100%

hard: better color but losing details

soft: greater details but losing color (faded)

depends on what condition and situation you want to capture. good light, then use soft. bad lighting, or not enough light sources (object/scenes with less bright colors, e.g. yellow, white, red), use hard then.

if not sure: use normal then.

correct me!

Any way to remove it?
I'm still having this problem and its in the phone memory instead of memory card.

You can format your phone memory if you feel like the phone's getting slower or there's alot of corrupted file messages.

Guys, one tip. Forgot where I got it from tongue.gif

To copy text

Press and hold the 'pencil' icon and at the same time,
push the cursor towards the text. You'll be able to see
the text being highlighted. Once you've completely highlighted
the text, you'll be able to see 2 options on screen:
Copy / Paste. Select 'Copy' (with your finger still pressing
the 'pencil' button.) Now let go of the pencil button, and press
and hold it again, then select 'Paste'

You can even exit the application that you were in and start a
new one and paste your copied text there. The text will still be
stored in memory until u either select another text to copy or
restart the phone

to smashpop - opps sorry but hopefully someone new to symbian can find it useful sweat.gif

to goliath - one use of the pencil is during sms, can use to choose symbol and also toggle to number mode

I find that the allowable character in my contact text fill is only around 10. Cannot more than that. Is that so?

i'm getting 4 black bar too and inside my room takes less than 5 minutes to capture my location

But the wifi a bit ahem... as compare to notebook. cause notebook can detect wifi (2 bar strength)but my n95 cannot detect it

Go outside, make sure the sky is clear. Open your n95 slider, hold the back of the phone , face the keypad toward the sky. Open maps. After that choose option->view->sattelite info then 5 numbers and bar will appear. (this might take a while) Wait until 3 or more bars turn to black. Then you're lock -on the gps.
