is it true that this phone always have the lagging problems?

hey old and current N95 users

i was actually inquiring about this phone with the salesman. I was very interested in N95 and also 6110 and was intending to make a purchase.

But the salesman told me about this fact before i make a decision. He said that the GPS license provide by NOKIA is only for 3 months and it require the user to pay MYR200/year to purchase the license to enable the GPS. If not, the built-in GPS will be locked.

Another alternative was to purchase an external GPS transmitter, which i do not intend to do so. Since it has a built-in GPS, why should i get an external. So i was wondering the fact about the GPS being disable after the "3months" is true? Is there anyway around it?

i used to understand that its free for gps if you used it for planning your trip. however for nagivation purpose, it will run on data connection eg imagine you are on the road for an hour and the data keep accumuating for the whole hour ! If youre not on an unlimited package from your mobile provider, it might cost u a bomb. please enlighten me is this true ?

coming from d s40 background, i do feel weird of putting 1 birthdate in 2 places (calendar entry n contact entry)...

does anybody have cheap if not free solution in syncing d birthdates between contacts n calendar?

hey guys, i have a little problem. What exactly is the cost for the typical post-paid 3G packet data connection for maxis? like, if i downloaded about 5mb, how much does that cost? Been playing around with the web browser on the n95, then when i checked my log, i used about 5.4mb...some friend of mine says that cost 50 bucks! some even gave more farfetched numbers...
