there are few things that i dislike about the n95..

1) GPS: You cant get that many sats and it takes about 7-9 mins to get a strong lock..

2) Maps function is semi-retarded, hard to use and is not updated...

3) While having 3G, PTT on i cant always make phone calls and get some miss calls, i've been told that this shortcoming its very common for nseries..

4) Slider doesnt feel that sturdy anymore, and it has only been 1 week..

On the plus side, the camera is really good but the hissing in the video is quite annoying.. maybe i should tone the volume down 1 notch..

The speakers on both sides are really good.. good volume and sounds..

Why not we just state "Loose Slider" as one of N95s feature?  laugh.gif

So u spent 3K on a 5Mp camera and good speakers.. biggrin.gif
but then i m sure u are still loving it.  thumbup.gif

Sorry, I asked a vague question earlier.

Does HSDPA on N95 works for you?

What telco are you using?

Any extra settings other than enable the HSDPA in packet connection and 3G internet settings?

The problem is that my N95 does not work well with HSDPA. It doesn't receive anymore packets after 30 seconds of connection or after loading about 260kb of data. The webpage just stopped there.

Nokia Care Centre said it is Celcom's fault, so I just want to make sure if any of you guys are actually using it (HSDPA) on N95 without any problem.

Btw, I'm a celcom corporate user with unlimited data package.

Thx.

HSDPA works fine with my N95. No extra setting except enable HSDPA in packet connection. If i turn it off my download becomes slower as shown in my previos post. I'm using Celcom3g Unlimited. Been connected to internet exclusively to the net using my N95 since I got it.

There's a 3G icon on top left instead of the normal antenna icon. Does that mean that the 3G is switched on even if my phone is on standby? Do I get get charged for this? If it is, how do I switch off? hmm.gif
