Yeah, all the phone with mass storage option can only access the memory card. Phone memory can't be accessed.

I also had the same problem. Are you using 3G simcard? Is it Maxis? Mine was solved after taking it to Maxis Centre. They just took less than 2 minutes to do something...

yesterday i also bring to sg. wang maxis central ask for it..
the girl ask me key *136#,but after key in stil cannot b..
and yesterday 9 i also call to maxis help line..he teach me set 3Gmms and 3G wap..
after set it also cannot connect with 3G and send mms ohmy.gif
wats going on? sad.gif
*
You are using 3G card right? Whenever I want to connect to internet, it will say "...not allowed". I also did the *136# & download the Maxis 3G settings but nothing worked. I even tried my friend's 3G sim into my phone but the same also.

I brought it to Maxis KLCC & they fixed it without any problem. They have some kind of 'their own settings' to make 3G sim compatible with N95

QUOTE(MOMOchacha @ Jul 8 2007, 08:51 PM)
then how v can get the PUK2 code?
*
Really no idea. AFAIK, pin2 for maxis is 0123 (puk2 don't know). But I've tried for maxis 3G sim & it doesn't work.
But if you can find it out, just get your manual & details are there on how to get it done.

EDIT: PIN2 is 1234 by default, not 0123 sweat.gif

if not mistaken, PUK2 is 1234 by default. I tried on my maxis 3G sim. not sure last time i set it or it was by default though.

Give it a try.
Oh, ya. It's 1234. No wonder it didnt work when i tried 0123. sweat.gif

QUOTE
EDIT: you dont need PUK2 actually. It can be done using PIN2

how to solve the "....not allowed" thing?

QUOTE(sonyclie77 @ Jul 9 2007, 01:44 AM)
Go to Menu - Settings - Phone Settings - Connection - APN Control

Restrictions is active by default.

To deactivate it you need the PIN2 code which can be obtained by calling your telco. smile.gif

Taken from N6110 thread. Thx to Sonyclie77 smile.gif

Anyone else got update, just yesterday or today?

EURO firmware? Is this any effect v using at Asia?

BuFung..can tell me wat software must install in my PC and where web pages to install?

Wow, I update already. 1st try it said update failed. That was scary.
Then I tried again & it was successful.

I can see come improvement in the speed
- surfing net is faster than usual
- WiFi is stronger. Earlier I can detect my neighbour's wifi point but cant connect & surf. Just now I tried & it worked. smile.gif

Only thing it the 3.5G is not appearing. Anyone who is using Prepaid (3G sim) got the 3.5G symbol..?

Will try & update abt the new firmware smile.gif

How to use Maps / GPS system at N95?
You are using V12? Try it out in low light condition. You can see lines on the screen.

Not sure how was it for V11

Emm nampak okies ajer kat screen, b4 capture image,
* yep u fireware V12.
* line tu a top area? but sekejap ajer..... line very slide kecil mmg tak perasaan ? betul ke?

How set GPS? use hotlink? emm kena bayar ker GPS ini?
For GPS

1) go to settings > general > positioning >positioning method.
If you want free GPS but slow & need direct exposure to sky, then just tick Intergrated GPS. Assisted GPS is faster but got charge. Then back > positioning server > set what access point you want to use (for Assisted GPS) Then exit

2) go to tools > GPS Data , & let it search for satellite. Once it lock the satellite, then straight press menu button > maps & it will show the location

Not really. Even I didn't realise it until I read about it in another forum... smile.gif
- but it can be seen, in low light condition.
