Hey, has anyone experience using those pocket guitar sold in Lazada and 11 Street? I am looking for a guitar tool that I can use for practice especially on chord changes when I go on business trips. I know the downside of such pocket tool is that there is no sound out of it. I don't want to lug around my regular sized guitar at the airport and those travel guitar doesn't look that small either. Must all musical instruments be checked in separately regardless of size?

I saw advert for Jamstix which looks cool but I think the price is almost as good if not more than getting a good branded guitar.

I also saw this travel guitar on [GOO]-&cc=[PPC][GOO]-&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=&gclid=CjwKCAiA_ojVBRAlEiwAOLRxIzIh3Qf863ffacfk00d3uhz3qj1lrV9zpOGLNdX7--ruSS4S8hO0qBoC3tsQAvD_BwE]ezBuy. But everything in chinese smile.gif so don't know whether it is using steel or nylon strings and what is the dimension but it does look small.

Any recommendation?

imo practicing chord changes on a small guitar doesn't help anything once u return to a full sized one.
so if u can afford it, go google voyage guitar... or perhaps a yamaha silent guitar.

The voyage guitar looks cool. What is the market rate? I dont think I've seen it in guitar stores. The yamaha silent guitar cannot be bend right?

ya u can't find it locally... so online.
silent guitar can remove the wings, so still quite easy to move around with.

i had a Martin backpacker...
obviously it's small, but when it comes down to size n sound... would be a better compromise to just get a baby Taylor.

the backpacker has a cool "neck thru" / canoe like construction tho... where the body n neck is one piece and then the body hollowed out.
