hi there...my hrv going into 70k km mileage...i notice the engine sounds more harsh than before..its like some loose belt not tight enough
anybody face the same issue?
*
Mines’s Almost 60k KM I feel the engine is not as quiet but maybe just the wear and tear? I usually hear it more when I turn off eco. On eco it’s quite quiet.

Also anyone noticed a orange liquid in the morning after removing your parked HRV? Noticed it a few times. Not sure what is it.

Went for my first 10k service last week and was asked to rotate my tires which come with a certain amount of charge.

Question: Do you guys normally rotate your tires during car services?
*
its normal to do rotate every 10k km with balancing and alignment. but rotating alone should not be charged..

Rotation is every 10k but I do mine outside at my regular tyre shop.  If you plan to change all 4 tyres together(next time), rotate if not, just do balancing...  Rotation main point is to have all tyres evenly wear. Correct me if I am wrong.

Some people change 2 tyres at a time by choosing to replace the worn one(usually front) but if you rotate, this practice cannot use...
*
yea you're right bro. usually the rotation is to for the tyres to have even wear and usually for people who change all 4 which means long time use also.

recommended to change at 1k? Saw some comments they change at 1k due to metals etc2..
*
Our car already did the run in, that’s why can last till 10k. So usually the change is only at 10k

I mean before 1k mileage, do I need to keep the max engine revs below certain rpm to take care of the new engine for a long term..Some of the blogs I saw, mentioned try to keep the speec below 100kmh..
*

Actually that’s a common practice since last time for most of us who owned older cars or bought cars where it needed to be run in at 1k. Nowadays all the new cars come already run in so that old practice is no longer necessary but if you read car forums/magazines, if you want the car engine to last long with no major problems, usually up to the first 10k don’t whack the rpm and go high speed. That’s what i’ve Done with all my cars and all my cars have gone up to 10 years plus with no major problems. Both jap/conti cars and also my proton.

Just curious, what;s the issue with rear axle beam? what are the symptoms like?
*
i went through hell with this issue with Honda. It was before HM figured out what the problem was. Almost 6 months in and out of the service center and finally fixed with adding washers and tightening. Had my rear axle changed twice.

May i ask where did they put the washers and what did they tighten?
*
At the back between the frame and body. It’s near the roof on both sides. They tighten the arms and the suspension bolts and added washers there as well. The sounds went off after this.

I ended up just putting the full UR as well
