Mines’s Almost 60k KM I feel the engine is not as quiet but maybe just the wear and tear? I usually hear it more when I turn off eco. On eco it’s quite quiet.

Also anyone noticed a orange liquid in the morning after removing your parked HRV? Noticed it a few times. Not sure what is it.

Mine is 2016 version, the last ones using the 16inch rims.

Seriously I ask the technician, he tell me, eventually, ALL the cars using this same engine will have this problem.

So if you feel that your engine starting is a bit rough sound, straight away send it for replacement. Dun be like me, thinking it is 5 year warranty, so wait for the sound to get louder.

Anyway, next week I going to the dealer I buy the car from and see if the part still can get warranty.

If you do a search, this belt auto tensioner is a common problem for Honda cars. I see in FB for HRV got change outside shop.

You bought a good car with a rock solid engine, but doesn't mean it won't break. LoL

Especially in the morning, you can hear tut tut tut like metal knocking sound come from engine compartment.

I've booked appointment with the dealer I bought the car from.
They check in computer and say I regularly service at other Honda dealer, why me why not ask them to check the car. Some more ask me who my salesman was, they wanna ref to him
Later after a bit of a quarrel, they booked me for next month near Raya. Purposely do that like wanna take revenge on me because no service with them.
I think can kiss the warranty goodbye as it got state in the service book about belts and tensioner.
Actually, the tensioner bearing might be chipped, so from tik tik tut tut sound later will be grinding noise when the ball bearing breaks.
I spray Wd40 on all the pulleys and the sound disappears for a while. Few days later, noise come back. But I no spray as Wd40 no good for belts it seems.
Exactly, but later on, when severe wear, gonna make noise at any speed.

I will ask outside shop how much to fix it.
