Seven months have passed since a deadly virus hit New York City and the rest of the world, crippling the population. When the virus hit, The Division, a unit of civilian sleeper agents, was activated as the last line of defense. Since then, Division agents have been fighting relentlessly to save what remains. For The Division, the stakes are higher than ever. Washington, D.C. – the most heavily protected city on earth – is at risk, leaving the entire nation on the brink of collapse. If Washington, D.C., is lost, then the nation falls. As a Division agent who has been in the field for seven months, you and your team are the last hope to stop the fall of society after the pandemic collapse.

The initial bad lag, bullet sponge, and the toxicity of dark zone make it virtually unplayable for me, pushing me back to Destiny

I really dislike the bullet sponge feeling, emptying 10 clips with each shot dealing thousands of damage, and the enemy just won't die
hope they do away with such style

but it's set in real world setting, how they gonna solve it it's beyond me

hahaha. the DZ is fun if you have a crew. if you are solo then its really stressful. from what i've heard theyve moved away from the DZ as a focus and you can get top gearsets from other missions.

the bullet sponge was damn annoying. several times PvP in the end everyone just walk away from a fight cause just lazy.. no one dying. and the enemies also OP. but dunno if their latest patches fixed that. havent played in more than a year haha

now no more bullet sponge... with my fully optimize 291gear score classified predator mark.. with 10shot from exotic smg the house i will make you bleed to death about 240k damage hihihi

I thought Ubisoft said there will be no paid DLC?

For myself, I did not pre-order it. But from what I saw from all the seller there are 3 version. The most expensive one cost RM319.00 include so call "Season Pass"

I recall back when announced they only mentioned Year 1 DLC is free

Probably like the Division 1. The Season Pass was for the expansion pack like Underground, Survival & Last Stand.

Like myself in Division 1, I only bought the normal version so can't play the above 3 expansion pack.

Tried but have bug like previous Division 1

What bug you encountered?

Division 1 was doing well back then before the first expansion, after the first expansion the bug kena outbreak everybody can shortcut the game easily and they manage fixed everything and balance till the final expansion today.

Most of my old buddies from division 1 ask for come back for division 2, and i have life commitment do not have time for MMORPG

if bugs like shortcut I dont mind I was locked inside room during story mode and my buddy was trapped under ground

if you have a group of friends playing this game then this should be fun

My daughter would come and stop me every time I wanna go out and save Washington DC,
so I have to put her to sleep first which is equally difficult as fighting in a post apocalypse world

its not fair to compare 2 different type of games leh. Apex is FPS Battle royale game. Div2 is third person open world shooter with grinding for loots and random stuffs. if you like APEX style and speed, better to get Titanfall 2 which is almost free now hahah. if you dont mind third person grindy a bit game, then div 2 for you. heheh. but div1 gave me hella good memories, so i assume div2 should be just as enjoyable.

when u said grindy, did u mean it is like rpg element? or if i slow comer, will be at disadvantages cuz other ppl already got better loot/weapon/health since they played for long time already?

dont worry about that. this game doable by soloing or grouping. even pvp (DZ) is easier because of stat been normalised for all players.

well im comparing it directly to Div1. after you reach end game, just keep grinding for better loot. for going through the story, dont worry about it. the grindy is mainly endgame

By the way guys, I'm still at lvl 16. If I go into DZ as part of the story mission, will I going to be gang up by other players like Division 1? I got trauma being gang up by Rogues in Division 1 when I solo

i also want to know, not dare to go dark zone as my lvl only 15. worry go in then die.

If you guys are playing Story mission, the DZ mission is just for you to unlock DZ only, no other Rogues/players/Boss, just follow the story unlock safe house and exit only

Yes, have to talk to NPCs in settlement and complete some project. will earn lot exp and blueprint.
Normally, if im alone, i will join randomly matching for clearing sidequest.
