Apart from kbdfans and aliexpress, anywhere else to source for DIY keyboard kits? I'm looking to build a 65% Hotswappable Bluetooth keyboard and it's darn near impossible to find.
I only saw a 65% hot swap pcb but not bluetooth. And I'm not willing to take the arduino path to make my own bluetooth HID.

Anyone knows where I can hunt for vintage keyboards? Planning to get the skcm blue alps. Buying them individually on ebay is effing expensive, 3USD per switch!

QUOTE(horns @ Apr 1 2019, 05:07 PM) no idea. rare/discontinued items like alps switches usually cost more. Yea, they are so pricey. Managed to get some Halo Clears from massdrop. Can't wait to try them out.

Massdrop now has drop for the Holy Pandas going for...US100 for 90 switches...
Damn tempted to try them out, but I"m not sure whether I'll appreciate difference. I'm now using the Halo Clear, and I love them. The bump is round and tactile (I can really feel the bump) and then squish... It's like light press ---> bump ----> squish...
I read the holy panda is 67g spring, so I'm not sure whether I like that softer spring. But a lot reviewers is the most tactile switch (apart from Zealios v2).

SP111Split, south paw anyone? So tempted to buy the black one.
Making some Holy Pandas now with YOKs. Somehow, I find lubing switches enjoyable. It feels meditative to me.
