Hi guys,
I am new to this hence am posting to garner some opinions. I am in the market to get an entry level mechanical gaming keyboard with a budget of around RM200. Is there anything that you guys would recommend?
I have looked at the following and am wondering if they are good.
1. TECWARE PHANTOM RGB BACKLIT MECHANICAL KEYBOARD - RM165 @ Shopee 2. Logitech G413 Carbon Mechanical Backlit Gaming Keyboard (920-008313) - RM228 @ Shopee 3. FANTECH MK871 RGB Phantheon Mechanical Gaming Keyboard- Silent Blue/Brown Switch - RM140 @ Shopee

QUOTE(horns @ Nov 22 2018, 02:37 AM) you should go for tecware phantom rgb. it's a outemu-based modular board (it only supports outemu switches in general) with switch hot-swapping. (meaning you can replace any key switch on the board with other switch types from outemu) imo a modular board is good for beginners, especially for those who are actually keen to take mkb modding as a hobby. with it you can learn first hand about most mkb basics, including mods that help improving typing experience. tecware phantom rgb sucks at its stock state. however it can be relatively decent compared to most oem boards if appropriate mods are applied. if you wanted support for switches from other brands like cherry mx, kailh, gateron, etc., you should wait for the up-coming tecware phantom elite. Thanks for the recommendation! Any idea when phantom elite will be released?

QUOTE(Adrian_Alastair @ Apr 9 2019, 03:56 PM) I heard Techware Phantom is good, less than RM200 for the TKL version. Using outemu switches, still waiting for mine to arrive to test out this week. Its alright. That is my first mechanical keyboard

QUOTE(Kmnst99 @ Apr 9 2019, 09:12 PM) How was it? Any problems or disadvantages? Comparing with Gaming Freak GK-MXRGN9 what differences and advantages or disadvantages? Im totally noob in mech keyboards, but looking for keyboard with brown switches, because it is silent as i know I don't have anything to compare with as this is my first keyboard and I didn't have the chance to try the others. But one point to note is that I took the brown switch, but kinda regret it now as it is not as 'soft' as I thought it would be, I think I would prefer the blue switch
