it's one of the better ones, with double-shot pbt key caps.

Using F108 at home. The keycaps are good thick PBT. However, it's somehow not as nice or solid as some other PBTs that I have. Perhaps it's the OEM profile compared to my others Cherry profile PBTs. The programming is not the easiest to use but it gets the job done. I always keep a copy of the manual in my Google Keep so I can access it anytime anywhere. haha... Built quality is very good. It's plastic but a sturdy and heavy thick plastic. The RGB blingness is on-point. So, no complain there as well. The only part I can complain on is the rattly stabilizers. No matter how much lube I place in there, it's no use. Unless you wanna go the distance and de-solder the board and fix that, else just have to accept it. smile.gif

a nice review smile.gif

the rattly space bar on my f87 (cherry mx red and black) is my only complaint. (my vortex pok3r have the same issue) however compared to my other prebuilts that have rattly stabs, ikbc's stabs and space bar are relatively less rattly.

about the caps, it's oem profile. it's not so nice when you're used to cherry profile caps.

ahhh... perhaps so. My previous Ducky Zero that I sold to my friend have a very rattly spacebar. Basically every keys with stabilizers are very rattly. Yes, it's worst than iKBC.

about ducky zero, i can confirm this because i have one too. it’s terrible. i blame that zero because i will not get another ducky anymore.

personally for prebuilts with overall build qualities, i will stick to varmilo. i will get a few variants for collections later (hopefully their rgb versions are really on the way)

.. some how it's nicer to type with sa profile key caps with heavier switches than red. did a brief search and found similar suggestions.

really didn't see this coming actually.

Hi sifus,

Any idea which wristrest fit IKBC F108? Is the Razor wristrest suitable? The razer is really comfortable imo.

Btw, thank you horns for the IKBC recommendation! biggrin.gif loving the keyboard but the rgb abit dim.

no problem. it's a minor trade-off: due to the nature of pbt, the rgb lighting effects are relatively dimmer than abs. if you liked brighter lighting effects, you can replace the stock caps with double-shot abs.

any full-size wrist rest should be fine for ikbc f108. it's really up to your preference.

iKBC is far best China board already.. They always provide something that very worth like 2 sets doubleshot PBT with keyboard, and cheaper price and good quality.
Expected from a growing brand that existed more than 10 years.

Ducky Zero really a budget keyboard, like hit or miss. Some you will encounter very nice 1.
Older Ducky Zero, are better build. For now, I no comments since the current price can be lower than iKBC. rclxub.gif

oh ducky zero is considered a budget board, no wonder smile.gif then i hope that it's the last one from ducky that sucks.

sometimes it's not really about price. i rather pay extra to get boards with good modifiers and space bar. (especially when the price gap is just like myr 50+)

Ducky Zero = China
Ducky One = Taiwan
Ducky Shine (Flagship) = Taiwan
Year of the (Chinese Zodiac), Shine Variation = Taiwan

Every brand also have cheap to expensive boards.. Budget boards normally use cheaper material cost, and hand solder.
Expensive board, PCB they use machine solder and double layer PCB. Ducky Zero not that bad, after you compare other budget boards..

Imagine you buy a budget board, switch stem break, keycaps leg break.. keyboard like goyang here and there..
Then you get Ducky Zero, like "Wah, what a big upgrade with similar price".

But, if you always use expensive boards, of course you feel meh towards Ducky Zero.
Keyboards always bottom-to-top only enjoy. smile.gif

nice thanks a lot for the clarification about ducky's boards. yeah most brands have different models to cover different budgets.

i still keep ducky zero untouched as reference for now. it's a perfect example of crappy space bar.

tbh better prebuilts are not necessarily expensive at stock (e.g. filco, varmilo, ikbc). they get expensive only when you customize them haha

afaik they offer such a build service, e.g. http://winkeyless.kr/forums/topic/assembly-service-b87-x2/

you can always contact them to confirm.
